Had such a great experience tonight at Outback! Alli was such an attentive bartender and was very knowledgeable about the menu. She was so helpful and was able to answer any question above and beyond my expectations and was very friendly and caring. She even catered to my need for extra lavender in my drink! Literally the best and definitely coming back just for her.
Our server Aaron was fantastic. He was professional. The menu prices were reasonable. The steaks med rare and rare were both undercooked mostly raw. However, we had no complaints. A nice quiet dinner.
I'm normally a fan of Outback Steakhouse, soups, steaks and drinks Unfortunately, last night or 03/14 the love for went away, when I purchased almost a 40 dollar dinner, that was ruined by the mash potatoes that were burnt, dry and tasteless , I called back to the restaurant and ask if I could return the meal , I was told I get a refund. So you service your customer with a partial refund of 10 dollars verses the entrée cost in it's entirety or a replacement dinner for the same amount?
It's been a few years since my last visit. Have always enjoyed their prime ribs. This outing I tried the Aussie style prime rib. It was cooked as requested. The taste was unique and flavorful. The quality for the cut of meat was very disappointing. I ordered the 16 Oz. It was cut at an angle like a ski slope. Leaving to question if it was really 16 Oz. Now prime rib is normally marbled with fat. This is well understood and expected. What was served turned out to be fully 40% fat. All at one end. That should have been trimmed ahead of serving. Sad to see the chain losing it's edge. Won't be ordering that again. My wife cooks better at home.
Twisted ribs are hard and overcooked. The steak was raw and they just can't get it right. What a shame since the waitress was amazing. Nice decor but not worth the low quality cooks.
My niece and nephew were there eating today, taking a break from the hospital, they don’t Live in Gainesville ! Their daughter was flown there needing heart surgery! She isn’t doing well ! A sweet waitress saw them FaceTiming with her , so they told her their story ! She told I guess was the manager Joe, and her came over paid for there meal, and said he would pray for Shelby! There is still kindness in this world, so yes I would recommend this place !
This Outback is awesome. The foods are prepped as requested. The staff is very accommodating. The restaurant is very clean. I eat here a few times a week. The management team is very good to work for. Hi Alli the best bartender in the world.
I did not like the way that they prepared the prime rib . But the customer service was excellent. The manager was really nice and helpful.
Service was slow. Had to ask about getting our salads after 2 loaves of bread, waitress was surprised that we didn’t get them. they came out 5 minutes before our main meal. My broccoli was cool, shrimp was rubbery, and steak was lukewarm.
As a family, we eat Outback to go at least 1x per week. The food is always wonderful, whether take out or dine in. Pork chops are great! Staff is always super helpful & friendly. Our “go to” spot for family meals!
