Never been to this location in gville. Had to step past what looked to be homeless people outside (like literally sitting on the pavement not ten feet from the door, looking crazy) which wasn't cool but nothing bad inside. Large variety of the usual Chinese foods and a functional hibachi station and lots of sushi too. Ice cream and puddings for dessert. The service was very good too, the server hovered near us and changed out plates and drinks very quickly. The decor isn't fancy or anything but it's good food and good value.
Came across this place when getting off the exit to get gas, and decided to pull into a plaza. This place was right there.I have to say, this place is better than any Chinese buffet in Michigan. If I lived in Florida, I would come here often. But I was visiting with family and was on my way back to Michigan.Good place to visit. Great customer service as well. Great selection of food. They also kept food filled. They not only have buffet food, but a grill section where you can make your own favorite dish.
Guess What.....I don't eat from a buffet, until NOW. Don't like eating from buffets. Worked in the industry for 15 years and know too many " horror" stories. However, this place is pretty good. Food has a huge turnover so it does not sit for long. Always plenty of good food with a fresh taste. Packed all time but plenty of seating. Honestly I think their food is priced lower than I am used too.
The place is not the best looking from outside, and the inside too can be improved. But when it comes to the food it's quite tasty and quite a lot of variety can be seen. Staff members are cheerful and active. Good place for a meal.
Great food would give a 5 star but the waitresses will clean your table and give it to someone else if your not careful and make sure you tell them you're not done. Waitress never let our drinks run out. They on the other hand will pick your drink up along with another tables and bring them back no way to tell what drink is yours
This is the last and great Chinese Buffet in Gainesville. Largest selection of food and it is also a good value as well. I get fed to capacity every time I go there and don't feel ripped off when I leave. I recommend this place for big eaters such as I. AAA+++
I was super disappointed in my take out. I usually get beef & beans from our go-to place, but since they were closed, we decided to try this place.This is what the “beef” looked like.. some sort of rubbery, pink, breaded (?) sliver of something. Will not be ordering from here again :(

For my first time here the place was very clean the food was fresh very professional polite staff even the bathroom was clean and fresh smelling great job Ocean Buffet
It's a good place to have a buffet but I have came here a lot of times and my fried food is old and rubbery.
