Good food loved the atmosphere. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone, but if meeting people get there early parking is an issue.
great mixologist, authentic
Hands down best barbecue I've ever had. We got a to go order on our way home from Orlando. The chicken, smoked turkey and chopped brisket were all melt in your mouth. Cheddar grits were amazing. Fries were hand cut and crispy. We will definitely visit again - so good!
Brisket, pulled pork, so good.
Loved it. I had the catfish platter and the fish was pretty close to perfect -- delicious breading, flaky fish, not oily like catfish can be. The tartar sauce that came with it was very tasty, but I didn't use much because the fish didn't need it. The BBQ pit beans were nice and savory with just a hint of heat, and the collard greens were quite satisfying, if not quite as good as the ones at Harry's. Very friendly and prompt service and a nice short wait for our food. All in all, a very nice experience.
Great food and service, huge bourbon selection
Our family has been to many bar-b-que restaurants across the US. At the end of our meal we had a discussion about whether this one is the best. It is certainly close. Everything we had (pork, brisket, turkey, catfish) was great. The sides were unique and fantastic. The prices are fair, the building is nice and the service was friendly.
If you are looking for authentic bbq, this is your place! They have real NC bbq, the catfish is clean and crispy, the drink menu is extensive, and the atmosphere is great! Our service was fast and friendly too.
Amazing bbq in Gainesville. Holds their own against the best. The burnt ends and brisket are outstanding. All the sides were great too: chili, fries, slaw, cheddar grits, mac and cheese.
The wings were bomb! I ended up going with the smoked chicken, collared greens and pit beans. All were really good. Solid beer selection on tap as well.
