Pretty decent Cuban food, but no beer and wine.
Stopped here during my road trip wanting to try some Cuban food for the first time. I tried a bit of everything and everything I had was so good I can’t even put it into words. The food, drinks, and deserts were all full of flavor and were fresh and organic. They had the best organic fruit shakes I’ve ever had. Customer service was outstanding as well, staff was patient and even gave me samples. Next time I’m in Florida, I’m stopping here at least once even if I have to make a drive.
I went to the Mi Apa in Gainesville the food was excellent! The service was great! The restaurant is very very clean. I was visiting from out of state and someone suggested this place because I was in the mood for Spanish Puerto Rican Food. However, Cuban food is pretty close to Puerto Rican food. It was delicious! It was fresh and made to order! Wish I had a Mi Apa near me!

I usually come every other morning before work for a steak and egg bowl and juice. Their steak and egg bowl I was told is pre made in advance so they just heat it up. It’s been several times I come and the middle of the food in the bowl is not hot or warm. I usually ask for extra sauce to put on the steak and they put it in the bag. Today I came ordered what I normally order and Nikki at the window seemed bothered when I said I needed to check my food and make sure it’s not cold. I told her it’s warm but I will heat it up and asked for some sauce that’s kind of like salsa and comes in a very small plastic dipping sauce container. She looked at me and said I have to charge you and I responded with I’m never charged for it and I come all the time she said it’s a $1.06 and I was shocked because it’s literally a small ketchup like container and I told her that’s insane it’s not like I’m order extra side or drink we are talking about sauce she looked at me and said I have to do what I have to do I don’t make the rules. Her attitude is beyond me besides the service of the food. I asked who the manager was she said Amanda and didn’t bother to get her or anything just swiped my card gave it back and made the comment about do what she has to do. I’m normally greeted with pleasant order takers and smiles but this one woman just her whole attitude sucks.
Debbie was an amazing person. She was kind and patient. The service she provided was excellent. I will definitely be returning.
Another great meal at Mia a. Server Claudia did a great job as the service was excellent. I really enjoyed having steak and egg bowl for breakfast. It was a great way to serve the meal and tasted delicious.
