I was feeling hungry and decided to try McAlister’s. It was my first time and my experience was delightful. The crew were very courteous and friendly, gave me time to choose what to order and delivered with a smile. The club sandwich was just right as well the fruit made fresh, Lemonade quenched my thirst. Price was on par affordable if you’re on a budget. Definitely recommend ?
Amazing! I can't stop smiling! Deli food that bursts your taste buds. I don't get to Gainesville very often anymore, so when I saw this place, I jumped in & trust me, if you love a good deli sandwich, salad, than DONT pass the chance up to give this wonderful place a go. You can online order takeout, or show up & eat there, inside or out. PERFECTION
Never going back to this place again, ordered a choose two with a Memphian and a spud max with no olives. Potato wasn’t even cooked, my memphian had no spring mix, no Mayo, mustard, or tomato. Boyfriend ordered a French dip, they gave us no au jus and when I went in to ask for it the manager on duty said very rudely “oh yeah, so we’re out, sorry” and then looked away. They weren’t busy whatsoever. Ordered at 9pm ish, the cooks looked like they were so out of it. Don’t know what’s going on up there but I will not be recommending this McAlisters to anyone else.
I love mcallister's deli and go to it often in my Hometown in Frankfort Illinois. We were in Gainesville Florida so we thought we would try it. I always get the new Yorker but what a disappointment! I would think that corporate standardizes these sandwiches but the one I got in Gainesville was nowhere near the 1 I always get in frankfort. They put it on toasted white bread! Not the marbled rye it is supposed to be on. Nowhere near the amount of meat I usually get, and where was the mustard? Corporate needs to make a visit!!
First time to McAllister's since leaving Texas and VERY DISAPPOINTED by the food in Gainesville! Ordered a french dip sandwich and it was quite possibly the tiniest sandwich I have ever seen. Of all the times we have eaten at McAllister's, the food has always been a large quantity and worth the money. Not this time. This sandwich was half a French Dip, not the entire sandwich as what we were charged for. Also ordered a 1/2 chicken salad sandwich and it was a messy/sloppy sandwich with not much chicken salad on it. This restaurant is a sad example of what McAllister's is known for. There is absolutely no comparison to the quality of food you get in Texas! Also the staff seemed very angry and not at all pleasant to deal with. Felt like I was a bother when picking up our order. Won't be back to this store again unfortunately!
nice spot, comparable to panera but substandard food
Great fresh food. As always
Great good & Excellent Service !Why wait in line in your car adding another hour of Carbon emissions at that Chicken place - when you can get a better meal here & be home in no time ??
Good store but Coorparate really needs to come to this store. The employees do not seem like they care in anyway.
Yummy. Cranberry orange club sammich is outstanding
