35 years and going as strong as ever, for good reason. Everything is cooked fresh to order, and tastes that way! Their fish sandwich is fantastic, and I always wind up getting that, but their hamburgers are delicious too! Yes, it's often extremely busy, but the line moves fast for the number of customers they're serving. They accept credit/debit cards now, which is great too. The prices are incredibly low, considering the quality. Beats the fast food places hands down.
Even though it was lunch time on weekdays, it took about 15 minutes to get the hamburger. Hamburgers are as fresh and healthy as their popularity. You can pay by credit card. The kids like the chicken handwiches, too. I want to recommend a restaurant that's cost-effective.
Love Mac's! One of the best burger places that I have been to. It's definitely just a drive through with 4 lanes off the beaten path. They accept credit and debit cards now which is great! I definitely recommend this place to all people that love burgers!
My husband and I were curious about why the line of cars waiting at the drive thru during lunchtime for this place was down the block so we joined the line and waited for 20 minutes before being able to make our order...It turns out we were waiting for burgers comparable to Hawthorne's Burger Barn.They are OK and nothing to write home about, but if you like plain burgers that don't taste like cardboard and have the homemade feel to them, it's affordable enough. Pretty greasy and the fries were somewhat soggy too, so we're probably not coming back for a second try.Bless the hearts of those people who pile up just to get burgers from this place - seems so odd when the food is just OK. ?♀️
It's evident why their line consistently spills out onto NW 10th Avenue and the burgers are well worth the wait. The burgers are fresh, juicy and left me craving more. The fries were a bit small in portion size but tasted what you'd expect. Overall a positive experience.
Kept seeing the lines so had to try them. Good burgers fresh of the griddle with typical toppings. Was hoping for something out of the ordinary but just another burger place. Don't misunderstand me, the food was hot good and priced fairly cheap. Worth 20 minutes in a drive thru? Nope.
I'm always pleased with Mac's. I've never tried anything other than their burger and fries because it's so good! If you've never been here, give it a try. They have a sign indicating they take credit cards now, but I still pay cash here since that's what I'm used to.
