This restaurant is hands down the best takeout I've ever had. I get it multiple times a month and the Indian food is so good and its always up to my expectations. I dream about how wonderful the food is and I make it my go to cheat meal. It is my guilty pleasure. I love you Kabab House.
This is a neighbor gem. Very casual and friendly. Place isn’t much to look at inside but the food is great. Excellent for take out. Favorites: butter chicken, chicken tikka, lamb korma & lamb vindaloo. Caution hot is spicy if you ask for it. The garlic naan is excellent too. Enjoy
Maybe we hit it on a bad day, but my wife's chicken was too salty and a bit burned, and my Daal was definitely too salty.
Excellent quality food. Amazing taste of butter chicken and great deal! Their attention is always phenomenal and you can always expect good portion, taste and satisfaction. Their food always tastes and feels healthier (less fatty) than other restaurants in Gainesville. Butter chicken recommended!!
Oh man was this good! We have never tried Indian food and all 4 things we tried were great. Everything was super flavorful. Can't wait to go back and try other foods.
This place has the most authentic Indian cuisine in Gainesville. My experience at kebab house was fantastic and the food was absolutely perfect, delicious, and filling. Moderate prices too! This was all due to the owner Dave who was very welcoming and helpful. Would rate over all experience 10/10 would/will/need to go again.
It’d be cool to see y’all be more earth friendly as each meal consist of the accumulation of so much trash?. Plus hot food in plastic?…BPA contamination to the body/environment. Hell I’d love to bring in my own dish if it wasn’t looked at as weird (free innovation ?)..but anyhow the food here is amazing. I literally never found a strong love for curry flavors but this place made me a believer ? very delicious and nice ppl who work there/own it. Everything we got was good and there’s a few more things we wanna try! Well done guys! The flavors/balance of ??
The waitress was kind & accommodating! What I ordered:Pic 1. Channa soup - very good; well-seasoned!Pic 2. Veggie makhani - perfect amount of spice! We had plain naan, as well. Both dishes were freshly made and had an authentic flavor! The portion sizes were great for three of us.
There was no crowd. The service was a little slow but I was in no hurry so I just enjoyed the smells and the relaxation. Veggie Samosa followed by Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. Very filling dinner and quite delicious. I'll be going back.
Amazing staff, very friendly.Food:Tried Butter Chicken.. And as a lover of Indian food, I can say that food was not close to Indian. Good try, but not even close to a real butter chicken.I won't just criticize, I will give my reasons for it too -1. Chicken in authentic butter chicken dish is cooked on a grill before putting in gravy. These people don't do that.2. Authentic Indian Butter chicken(From New Delhi) is creamy and mild spicy and not sweet (that is British version with more tomatoes). That also depends on where you eat in India though. This is subjective to taste.I have been eating butter chicken for almost 20 years now. This is not the worst, but not the best either.3. The naan that they serve, let's not talk about that for now or I'll keep going on.
