Excellent pizza as always. They were out of my favorite (the Berliner) but the Margherita and pepperoni were super good. These two pies fed 6 hungry kids with no complaints.
The concept is cool, in practice the quality just wasn't there. Went on a slow cold night and the staff didn't say anything to welcome me or offer choices. My interactions were with a POS kiosk. Ordered a basic margherita and a hawaiian which took ~10 minutes. Both of the pizzas were well cooked on the outside but the middle was just dough and undercooked with the cheese just falling right off when picking up a slice. Honestly received better service and quality from Blaze. I was hoping to use them for a catering event but I just wasn't impressed with the timing and quality. Better luck next time.
Humble Wood Fire catered our wedding last weekend and my wife and I couldn’t be happier. We were expecting the pizza to be good, but it was fantastic!! Everyone at the wedding absolutely loved the pizza. It was perfect!
I'm a transplant from the northeast. Near New Haven, Connecticut- pizza capital of the north. Having said this I was extremely impressed with the Humble wood fired pizza! Best pizza I've had so far in Gainesville. I loved the fresh ingredients and most importantly the sauce- which is the key to a great pizza. The owner informed me they will be opening a storefront soon. They now work out of a truck. I will be back for more.
The pizza is delicious! The scenery is amazing too. I wish they had better soda! Blue Sky tastes weird
Best pies in the swamp hands down. Don't miss this gem if you like wood fired pizza and quality ingredients.
Pizzas are ridiculously small for the price. However, the flavors are GREAT. (Note- this does NOT include the Berliner which is hands down the worst pie I’ve ever eaten. It was seemingly created by someone who has no fundamental understanding of flavor pairings. Was offended I could be charged money for that experience.) On the other hand, the fungi pie is to die for! I could eat it for every meal for the rest of my life.
The pizza is pretty good but the main guy that was running the truck was not a nice dude...at all. What’s more concerning is that he was being incredibly rude to both his staff and customers. It was a shame because the pizza was fairly good and the other staff members working for the guy seemed nice.
I have been here numerous times and brought my family and friends who have all loved and enjoyed the food as well. Fresh ingredients, a menu for everyone, small portions but the quality is worth it. Friendly staff!
We came here one morning from just walking around. We had an awesome breakfast. I had two eggs, cheese and apple wood bacon. My husband had a homemade english muffin with egg and cheese. Very reasonable cost and food tastes great.
