Let me just say, I moved out of Gainesville over a year ago to Denver, CO. I miss Humblewood so much. I can’t find a place that has shiitake bacon or does a vegetarian/vegan BLT. I think about Humblewood all the time and how I should have gone more.

Perfect bagel, worth the wait, large portions

Bagels are small but good. Took an hour and a half for 2 bagel sandwiches. Cashier told us he was deliberately under promising customers about the wait time. We were told 45 minutes (which was long enough) and after an hour and a half we half, we had just gotten them. This is a reoccurring issue, as told by our friends. We won’t be back for a long time. Very disappointing

Was looking for an outdoor place to have breakfast. Came across Humble Wood as part of 4th Ave Food Park. Wonderfully surprised! Food was great. Coffee at Opus Coffee was amazing. As an alumni from the 80s it was nice seeing there is still some weird, quirky, cool in Gainesville.

I’ve never been one to sit down and enjoy a bagel but Humble Wood Fire knocked it out of the park. First with the ease of online ordering and pickup combined with the flavors provided on a simply delicious sandwich are unprecedented. I kept it simple with the tomato melt on a rosemary bagel and was nothing short of impressed. The shiitake bacon was also unexpected but equally delicious. I will definitely be returning to see what else Humble Wood Fire has to offer.

My favorite Florida bagel, especially the jalapeño cheddar and the rosemary salt!!!

I adore this place. Bagels are incredible. People are wonderful.

Great off the path locals find with amazing flavors!

The food and the customer service is great but the amount of food for the price is outrageous.

I'm a transplant from the northeast. Near New Haven, Connecticut- pizza capital of the north. Having said this I was extremely impressed with the Humble wood fired pizza! Best pizza I've had so far in Gainesville. I loved the fresh ingredients and most importantly the sauce- which is the key to a great pizza. The owner informed me they will be opening a storefront soon. They now work out of a truck. I will be back for more.
