Great sushi, very nice place
Such an awesome meal. I don’t eat sushi but the hibachi food was the best I’ve ever had & the service was great. Loved the sink in the bathroom too. Will definitely be back!
Modern decor and a very attentive server made this spot inviting upon entry. The presentation of the sashimi was excellent as was the taste.
Nice ambiance, good food and affordable. The spicy edamame is deliciously different, yellowtail jalapeño is so so fresh, it’s really on fire and it comes with blue edible flowers, so pretty.
Wow. I wish we didn’t wait so long before trying out Hana Sushi because our experience was truly incredible.We started off with the Japanese soda (strawberry) which was really cool, but the staff should tell you how to open it! We had no idea and had to google it. Then we got crab rangoons which came with a little sweet chili sauce. These were perfectly fried and so creamy inside - so good, didn’t even need the sauce although it was good as well.We couldn’t decide on our entrees so we got a bit of everything - shrimp lo mein, volcano roll, Hawaiian roll, king crab roll, spicy scallop roll, and Fuji roll. We were blown away by all of it, but the star was the king crab roll which is topped with spicy krab salad and baked scallops. The king crab inside the roll was identifiable in huge chunks and was so fresh and tasty. The Hawaiian roll was the most interesting, since it was very sweet and topped with mango sliced very thin. We would for sure order that again since I have never seen this on any other menu. The shrimp lo mein had huge shrimp and was a heaping portion. The Fuji roll was deep fried, but was not greasy and had the best tempura texture on the outside. All of the rolls came with really delicious sauces on top.We will definitely be back to try more, as we were impressed with every single item we ordered. Our server let us know he was brand new, but he was on top of things. The inside is beautiful and simple, but very clean. My only complaint is that the booths on the left side of the restaurant are quite small compared to any other restaurant in Gainesville. Next time we will sit at the bar to wash the sushi chefs at work!! Their rolls are truly works of art. We were blown away.
I can't say enough how much I love this place! Our Waiter was very pleasant, hemade sure we had everything we needed, and made us feel welcome. Now, about the food......They make the BEST chicken Pad Thai I've EVER had. (I order mine with a little spice). I highly recommend the magic roll as well. It was amazing! And if you like a strong cocktail. I recommend the scorpion bowl. I will go back often!!! Even my 16 yo daughter loved it.
Nice restaurant just inside of Celebration Point. Staff has always been friendly and food awesome.
Ordered the spider crab roll and veggie tempura dinner. The spider roll was good and didn't have fake crab mixed in like some places do. The veggie tempora was pretty loaded and had a good variety of veg. Also came with a miss soup and salad. Staff was prompt and friendly.
Great food and quick and friendly service!
It was super busy, waited for about 20 min. Everything was a long wait, from waiter coming taking and bring our drinks, and for waiting on our warm food and sushi. What really made us mad was they put our 2 sushi orders on one plate... what certainly wasn't acceptable since one was spice... so we had to sent our plate back and we even had to ask for the shrimp sauce.The food was very delicious though.
