We enjoyed Gators during our stay in Gainesville! Our bar tender Chloe was terrific! Food was great and happy hour......2 for the price of one drinks, great!
Last time I was disappointed, but once again I was staying at the Best Western Gateway Grand and too tired to go anywhere else. This time the food was good (grouper bites and spinach-artichoke dip). The service was very friendly (Juliana, who was covering the bar as well). Cocktails were tasty, good size, and well priced. The decor is still minimal, with hard wood chairs. Maybe some day they will get padded chairs or at least pads for the chairs. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but if you're already at the hotel, this is a reasonable option.

Good atmosphere, decent beer!
Drink orders were wrong twice. Food was cold and waited 45 min for 2 burgers and a pulled pork. The only good think was the server. Stephanie took great care of us.
The staff is friendly and it's a laid back atmosphere. The tacos looked amazing! Happy hour was buy one beer get one free!
I enjoyed it. Good atmosphere, good drinks with specials etc.
The food is okay. Although I hear they are trying a new menu soon
