We stopped at New El Dorado Mexican Restaurant as that is what my son said he wanted. I like Latin food in general as long as it's not Taco Bell. The restaurant was very cool looking from the outside. Going in they have fish ponds with beautiful big loi and gold fish .There looks like outdoor seating possible. We went inside and it got even better. The El Dorado is gay fiesta decorations in Mexican flare. The hand painted Tables and Chairs are totally great looking. The menu had lots of authentic dishes all at medium to good prices. The food came out hot and delicious . Now my Mexican Ribeye steak with melted cheese and garlic onions and mushrooms tasted muy bueno. One son got Beef Ribs cut thin .Good but my steak was better. My other son got Fajitas . They where as good or better than any Fajitas I had anywhere with good size portions for all ordered.
This place is really beautiful and the food is so good and authentic! The price is just right and you get an over abundance of food. The waiter was as nice as he could be. We will be coming back!

Some of the best Mexican food in Northern Florida in such an unexpected location. Their fajita nachos are terrific and their birria tacos are in top 3 that I've ever had. They got their start at the beginning of COVID pandemic so they weren't able to fully renovate their restaurant property but don't let the decor fool you, the food is absolutely delicious and top tier. You will be happy that you came.
We love El Dorado! My husband and I are both vegans and they do a great job of accommodating us with substitutions or alterations. They also have veggie fajitas with a variety of veggies and some unique vegan/vegetarian dishes so it isn't just a bean version of the other dishes.It is almost always close to empty when we go, but that means we get fast service, so it works out well. Their prices are very reasonable and (for us, at least) we find that we usually can split a dish with plenty of food for us both.
Fast, friendly, and attentive service. Food was delicious. No alcohol (which we were advised ahead of time) which really isn't that bad.. .the meal ends up a little cheaper. I had the Hawaiian Chicken and my BF had the Burrito Supreme with shredded chicken (which was plentiful). Visiting and if we return to the area we would definitely come back!

First off, The ambiance? Gorgeous! It’s so pretty, authentic. Inside and out. The service was great, they warn you when sauces that are super hot, lol. The chips, the salsa and the BIRRIA TACOS (served only on weekends) Yummy!! Omg. Cannot wait to go again! My daughter and I were very pleased
This is THE best Mexican restaurant in town. My wife and I remember this place from when it was Miraku Hibachi, we had cherished memories there, and after a long wait we are not disappointed for what this place become. It's much better than any other Mexican restaurant in town by a LONG SHOT!!! The salsa is perfect, the chips are fresh and thick, the extra sauces they bring you are perfect for adding spice and smokiness to the salsa for added flavor. The scallops are INCREDIBLE, my wife doesn't normally eat them but loved them here. We tried a lot of items and nothing was sub par! The tilapia and peppers are outstanding, surprisingly great and cooked to perfection. Every flavor had just a little something extra to it, elevated. The enchiladas with the red mole is a phenomenal combination that will keep us coming back over and over again. We asked for extra sour cream and shredded cheese when ordering and they brought out so much extra than other restaurants, about 4xs as much. The portions are huge and the prices are rock solid and standard for Mexican, maybe even slightly cheaper than staples like Peppers! Please, do yourself a favor and just go, the servers were fast and on point and we can't think of a single complaint. Even the pulled chicken taco was fantastic!!! 10/10, 5/5, will absolutely be going back again and SOON!
