Overly priced air filled ice cream. I stopped while traveling and a hour later became sick after eating blizzard. Teenagers taking orders (not in uniform)and fixing them should have been my warning. I would never return. And was told they only had chicken tenders to eat.
What happened to dq? Two SMALL blizzards is $12 now? I will probably not be back for that price. Gouging across the us with the rest of corp profit grabs. Very sad.
Hwy Robbery, Two 4 piece Chicken Tender meals and One double hamburger(no cheese) combo was $36. The chicken tender meals consisted of untoasted bread, no gravy, and over cooked chicken. Did want sweet tea but that’s not an option. A milk shake would have been nice also but a medium was $6 and some change. Most everyone in the place had problems with their order, one gentleman ordered 3 times before getting it right and it took 45 min. Be smart, stay away from this DQ.
$6.36 Chili Dogs. I'm on the road a lot and usually swing by a DQ for a couple Chili Dogs. Usually about $2.89 each, including the other Gainesville location which charges about $2.99 each (also tucked inside a gas station). This DQ must have Chili Dogs made of gold, bc the Chili Dogs are over twice as much, at $6.36 each. Yikes. And the Blizzard is 50% more. So my meal which is usually about $10 was about $20 instead. An extra star given for the delightful drive thru lady. Very kind and courteous. But I'll be going to the other location from now on.
I went thru the drive in at 10:14pm and I was informed that “the kitchen is closed” even though it closes at 10:30pm. She then developed an attitude and told me she wasn’t making any food for me and that made me feel really uncomfortable. I did not have a good experience.
Only got ice cream but no dine in, drive thru only. I don't particularly like eating in the car but the blizzard was good and that made up for it.
It is inside a gas station but completely seperate. Its looks to be family run. They were very nice and attentive. They made everything as ordered. I had a large cherry dip cone and it was delicious!! 10-10!
The DQ is inside the gas station, but there is limited indoor seating in the rear of the store, as well as a drive thru. Staff was very friendly, and the wait wasn't long. 2 cheeseburger combos with fries and drinks cost $20.00, and everything was fresh, hot, and yummy. Side note: There is a veritable gift shop's worth of items for purchase. If you're looking for fun souvenirs, this is a great place to go.
Just came from Dairy Queen. This place used to have great blizzards and meals. Not anymore, very disappointing. Spend you money elsewhere, they don't deserve your business.
Strawberry cheesecake blizzard was all melted and they forgot to give us our drink. Worst dairy queen ever.
