Wow what amazing southern hospitality! We stopped by for a quick lunch and had an amazing experience with your cashier, super friendly and accommodating to our needs - please give your big bald man a raise!!! (Never got his name sorry, maybe give everyone a raise to compensate!) The chicken and shrimp were cooked perfectly and tasted great, loved the hush puppies and corn bites - we will definitely be back!
We ordered the catfish dinner. It was really good! The fish was really large filets. Definitely will return next time that we're in the area.
Generally just a bad restaurant. Called in food and it still waited for 45 mins at the window. The cashier quit while we were waiting. Then we go to the window and the manager argued with us about 50 cent kens ranch even tho we already paid for it. Once we got home all the food gave us food poisoning and a bunch of our food was wrong. Genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant.
Chunky's is a great fry grill when you're in the mood for it. Wings, tenders, fries, etc. They cook to order so the food is hot and fresh when you get it. Great for game day or when you're in the mood for wings and things!
Initially I came to get a refund, but Kevin’s customer service was phenomenal and he was in the process of remaking my order because the manager had stepped out. Once the manager came back he came to the window, even though Kevin just told him why I returned my order. So, I keep hearing Kevin say that’s garbage, I got it. Numerous times so I yell in the window to please don’t touch my food because I brought it back for a reason. He comes to the window belligerent once again and disgusting. With one glove on his hand and wiping sweat from his forehead. I will not recommend this place to ANYONE!! The so called “manager” was very unprofessional, disgusting, rude, NASTY, and belligerent!! I also have a video of our argument that will be posted on all social media platforms.
I asked for cocktail sauce with my fried shrimp meal he was trying to charge me $.60. Definitely not coming back here ever again. It's the principle
My husband had the chicken basket I had the chicken and liver. Both were fried fresh and crispy just the way we like it, HOWEVER, the cook must have something against seasoning because the food was tasteless. No seasoning on the chicken not even salt on the fries. The food is over priced. Two chicken baskets cost a lil over $20. The young lady at the window was very nice. Which is why I gave 2 stars. I don't think I will order from this place again.In response to the "owner" IF it took 15 minutes to order my food (which it did not) what does that have to do with it being tasteless?? Address the issue don't deflect! The food was overpriced because it had NO SEASONING!! But carry on!
The food did taste good, but it was so greasy we were sick the rest of the night.
Chicken Gizzards were seasoned well and tasty. Will be going back soon!
