Good quality food and decent prices.
Middle of the road. Take-out is quick. Lo Mein and Fried Rice are both above average. Most dishes are a combination of of pre-done and fresh. Orange Chicken a good example- most pieces of chicken have very little chicken. Just a bunch breading. Then mixed with sauce and veggies. Not awful but don't expect freshly made and you will be fine. Really just Chinese fast food.
My usual order is the beef and broccoli with vegetable fried rice. It's one of the best I've had. The beef has just the right amount of sauce (not drenched like other places) the veggie fried rice tastes fresh and not heavy or greasy and the chef lady is really friendly. They also take health very seriously you can be assured the food is prepared safely. Only shame is that they're located far from the centre of gainesville but I work near by so I'm lucky that I can stop by after work. If you live near haile plantation and want good Chinese food I'd send you to bamboos

Due to Covid-19 it has been awhile since we went to Bamboos. Can't eat in, everything is carryout but that wasn't a problem. The food was fantastic! We tried their egg drop soup and it was so good! Very thick, just like homemade. Got our usual House Special fried rice, exceptional. Tried roast pork with snow peas. I will get that again, it was good! Hubby got his sweet and sour pork. Happy Camper. The employees are always helpful, and friendly! They have taken some measures to keep their patrons safe. If you pay by cash, you put your money in a box, the box closes, they put your change in the cup and then you get your change. Same with the food. It is bagged and put in a large container and then closes. Then the staff opens the box for you. So now physical interaction is not a problem. Trust me we will be back within a few weeks. I had missed their food so much!!!
tried for first time honestly better than yummy house and its take out.... rice and honey chicken are the best ive had since moving to north florida
Not authentic Chinese cuisine but some of the best Chinese American I've had since moving here. Very clean and extremely nice people. Food is always ready when they say it will be.
It's decent Chinese food. The house mustard tasted like regular yellow mustard. That was kind of gross.
