The service was good, the food was delicious,,and the atmosphere was very colorful. We particularly appreciated the fun list of half price non-alcoholic frozen drinks.
Service was slow not attentive and tables werenât wiped down
College going away dinner with the family
My waiter was not very attentive i had to ask her for silverware she didnât bring multiple things i asked for and would disappear for long periods at a time
I've eaten at other locations and enjoyed it, and this was no different. I started with the conch fritters and had the jerk chicken pasta for my entree, and both were excellent. Conch fritters can easily get gummy or chewy, but these were tender and flavorful with a great fried crunch. The jerk chicken wasn't half as spicy as I expected, but it was still delicious. The sauce was creamy and well-seasoned and the chicken was perfectly cooked. I also really enjoyed the island atmosphere and decor. All in all, a very nice dining experience and I'm already eager to go back.
This was our first time at a Bahama Breeze. The food and service were both really good. We sat at the bar and the bartender made me a really good margarita. Most places, I don't order mixed drinks anymore because they skimp on the alcohol. This bartender made the margarita right! She also made great food suggestions. My husband had the jerk chicken pasta and I had the jerk chicken pineapple bowl. Both were really good! A few of the entrees have the choice of a full portion or a lighter portion. My husband ordered the lighter portion of the jerk chicken pasta and it was still a lot of food. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because we ordered the pineapple cheesecake empanadas to go and almost 2 hours later at the hotel we discovered the kitchen staff sent the beef empanadas with the dessert sauces instead. Very disappointing! We did not try them so I can't comment on those.
Stopped by for lunch, great atmosphere with out door dining. Friendly service and delicious food ?.
While doing a medical thing in Gainesville, we needed lunch so headed to this new to us restaurant. It has an extensive menu, but we came here for the lunch combos. Pick an entree, and combine with a soup or salad. I had 4 crunchy coconut shrimp with the cup of seafood chowder. My spouse had crunchy shrimp with a salad. Both were served quickly with a friendly server smile. The soup comes with oyster crackers and was a good temperature. The shrimp had a spicy mustard dipping sauce. And the salad comes with a citrus based balsamic dressing on the side. Every table has a portable computer screen that they try to entice you to play games for $1.99. Pass on that. When finished, the server punches a few spots on the screen and the bill is presented with self pay by debit or credit and can add the tip and an emailed or printed receipt. Decor is definitely warehouse dock tropical and a bit noisy, with very little to temper noise, but we will probably be back. Tasty food, served quickly with a smile.
1st time. Jerk Shrimp App comes in a soup of liquid and was really over cooked but had decent flavor. Comes with an entire loaf of Cuban bread. Empanadas were delicious. I ordered Jerk shrimp pasta without the veggies and was delivered fully loaded. Replacement received almost immediately but the Shrimp looked boiled and had no seasoning. The 3rd attempt was amazing.
The service is very good. We had jerk chicken pasta, cheese sticks and coconut shrimp. The taste is beyond the expectations. We are decided to go agin.
