One of the best Japanese restaurant in Gainesville. It has a great atmosphere, making it a great place for date nights. Their lunch menu has poke bowl, hibachi, sushi, and lunch box. We had poke bowl and hibachi, and they were all good. Their sushi boat is also a good option for dinner if you come as a party of 2 or more. Will come back again.
Anna was excellent! Thank you Anna for a fabulous experience. The vegetable dumplings were scrumptious! We ordered both fried and steamed versions. I normally prefer steamed, however the crunchy ones took the cake! The sushi was very good, and I’m picky about my sushi. The sexy lady roll is riceless, it was sweet and savory. The JB roll is your standard tempura roll, but I like anything with cream cheese. Both were good size rolls and very filling. The hibachi chicken was good quality chicken. The miso soup had outstanding flavor. Highly recommend!
Happy anniversary to us! This was one of the best sushi meals we’ve ever had. Beautiful restaurant, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and melt in your mouth sashimi! Top marks. We will be back (before the next 30 years-maybe next week)! Delicious!!!
This place is great! The food was spectacular! Try the sexy lady roll - you'll thank me. Look out Gainesville, there is a new place aiming to be the best sushi in town. Best step up your game....
Dine in experience much better than takeout here. Maybe they had a bad day when we got takeout, but the sushi just tasted off. When we came to dine in, we found that service was friendly and the place had a good vibe. The food leans much more into fusion than traditional Japanese food. Recommend getting sushi rolls and their black fried rice. Drinks are good too. Food came out a little slow, but we didn't mind much. Prices are reasonable for Gainesville.
Difficult place to rate. They have a beautiful restaurant and friendly staff. Out of the 3 rolls we ordered it was only the hard Rock that was full of flavor. The sweetheart was ok with fresh tuna but was bland. The conch was ok but tiny pieces and the flavor didn't come out much. Ceviche was ok but it is chef's choice of fish. This was one of the priciest sushi restaurants that fails to deliver. For 2 people and tip 80.00 it is more than any other sushi restaurant in town so far.
The food was delicious. As with most hibachi places, the price was a little higher but the sushi a reasonable price. Our waitress was very nice and attentive as well.
Very nice. Great food. Trendy atmosphere. Just seat guests right away, don't make them wait, stop what you're doing and greet and seat the guests. It's important. We're coming here to spend money, make us feel like big shots by attending to us right away.
Just driving through Gainesville, great find!!! Everything is fresh and food is really good. Highly recommended.
great food and okay service! came here on valentine’s day and although it was super busy everything came out correctly. they were even handing out chocolates. so cute!!! must try the coconut mojito. a bit pricy for what it is but not bad.
