At 6:09am we stopped in at this Waffle House to grab breakfast on our way home to Louisiana. When we pulled up there wasn't a single customer in the store. One of the employees was sitting at a booth looking at her cell phone and as we walked up she stood up and picked up a mop. As soon as we opened the door she said that they were still cleaning and it would be at least a 15 minute wait. There wasn't a single customer in the store!! As we got back in our vehicle we could see a few other employees looking and one was laughing. We then went across the bridge to another location and again- multiple booths open, however they said it would be 30+ minutes to be seated because of a large group in front of us, but there were only 4 people waiting. I have never experienced anything like this at any Waffle House we've eaten at! Terrible service!
This place was a trip!! One lady was yelling at some customer outside for not turning their headlights off and it blinding the people inside, one lady was telling people they didn't have sweet tea when another literally poured and handed sweet tea to other guests ... Cook was sling food so fast!!It was lively, entertaining, and made us laugh that's for sure!! Food was good, it's a waffle house, it hit the 2am spot after a long day!
Seen a review berating “Tim” the cook, he was one of the most friendliest guys I’ve ever met he gave me 5 star service. And acts like he loves his job which is rare to find now days! Great man!
We don't have WH here in NJ. So this was my first time eating there. I was very impressed. All food is made to order right out in the open. And the cooks worked like a well oiled machine.Had the patty melt bowl, and it was very good. And the coffee was outstanding. It was smooth and fresh. No bitterness whatsoever. These guys have their blend and brewing equipment dialed in.Best of all, was my awesome server, Michelle. She was super cheery and energetic. It was early in the morning, this past Saturday: the place was already packed. Like a pro, she got everyone's order taken and food served.They were even willing to sell me one of their coffee mugs to commemorate my first visit.Will be happy to eat there again.
There's a cook named Tim or Tom short dude in glasses black he will give you attitude and mess with your food just because he doesn't like the way you look or talk. I didn't do anything and the dude gave me attitude and messed up my food. Dude wanted to have a problem with the customers. He needs to go before he runs into the wrong person. Have moral respect for each other. You never know what people are going through
This waffle house is definitely a hit. The staff makes you feel like you're a part of their family. I just moved to Florida from Rhode Island with my fiance and father-in-law, and they welcomed us home.
Excellent as always. Great service, staff was fantastic. Cook even made sure of how I asked for my eggs to be cooked, was I satisfied. I was.

Waffle House in the south is better than Waffle House anywhere else (better than Texas, too!) Trystan was great as our server. The manager even came out to thank us for coming. We were there for one daughter's birthday and we played the birthday song on the jukebox. Good times!
Had a quick breakfast. Very friendly waiter. Good service etc.
