Obsessed with these acai bowls! The fruit is always fresh and the consistency of the acai is perfect. The Rive Cafe next door also has great food- we love the grilled cheese with bacon. The coffee truck never disappoints either! We come to this spot at least once a week and always recommend to others!! Keep in mind there are no restrooms and there's often a wait on the weekends during the summer.
Overall loved the scene and bowls! The açaí mix they use is very sweet, which was too much for me personally. Good portion size and they have kids size. Sadly they were out of bee pollen, but did add raspberries to their list of options to make up for it. Staff was friendly!
Super delicious!! Everything is very friendly for dietary restrictions. It’s in a super cute converted car wash with two other food trucks. It was amazing and everyone was super friendly.
Immaculate vibes and great açaí bowls. It started off as one truck and now there’s 3 (food and coffee). I love watching the growth in business and the community since they’ve been established in downtown fort walton. Truly thriving.
New owners absolutely do not care about this business. It is absolutely pathetic that Sunset Bowls has been out of granola for a week and a half. It’s Açaí, granola is a main ingredient. Why are we still paying the same amount for a bowl that lacks a main ingredient?! Makes zero sense. Also, the old owners used to run up to Publix whenever they ran out of granola or missed a shipment. That is unfortunately not the case with this new management. They do NOT care!!!!!!!On my way to Destin to pick up real Açaí…
New owners. Now, it’s not the same. Bowls are still good, but they have new hours, are randomly closed several days a month, and lately, are out of ingredients. This never happened in the past.Please bring the previous owners back! At this rate, the bowl place will look like the car wash next door, shut down.
We have been to get bowls two different times and they have been out of GRANOLA!!! Ridiculous!!We always loved to come to Sunset Bowls, but it looks like we will be finding a new Açaí bowl place.The originals always had everything in stock and never a problem.Sad to see a business do so bad with new ownership.
I love this place! The people and bowls are awesome.But I really wish they took the time to set up a better “to go” process. You can call in an order, show up when told to, and then have to wait in line for 25-35 minutes while they take AND make everyone else’s order before you can pick yours up. Even when your order has been ready for 30+ minutes. Maybe a way to pay online? Or over the phone when it’s placed? Otherwise it doesn’t make sense to accept call ahead orders at all.
This place is so fun, so cute and also so healthy! We were in Fort Walton for only 2 days and we had breakfast here on both days! We brought the bowl back to our hotel and had it in the balcony - it was lovely! The Sunset Bowl and the Lavender White Chocolate Mocha were my favorites from the breakfast bowl truck and the coffee truck respectively.
We stopped for dessert. The different bowls have açaí blend plus granola plus different fruits, coconut, honey, etc. It is an outdoor setting, and there are a few chairs in the shade if you want to sit down.
