First let me say don’t ever do curbside if you want all of your food this dish I ordered came with 3 sides as you can see I only have two. Secondly the bake beans were so hard I couldn’t eat them the lid was also cracked on top I’m not sure why. The meat was very dry ribs and the chicken no smoke flavor at all. I was giving sauce in a packet never seen that from a restaurant. The only thing was tasty was the cornbread muffin that I ate. I ordered 3 meals yesterday for my family for Memorial Day at the beach, we all wasted $65 worth of food my husband Mac/cheese was runny.. I only came here because someone referred this place, however never again.
Great BBQ joint! Food, decor, and atmosphere were all amazing, however this restaurant, like many others, is plagued by short staff issues. Wait times were just a bit too long for most customers I feel, given that there were still open tables.I ordered the “Whole Hog” sandwich. This unique combination of pulled pork and sausage was delicious, especially when combined with their award winning sauce! Served with a heaping mound of crinkle cut fries and a tall glass of tea, makes this a meal fit for a king (or queen)!All around, this restaurant has my enthusiastic recommendation. They just need the server staff to get up to full operating capacity, but don’t let that discourage you!
Service was top notch. Hit with the smell of smoked brisket the second you walk in. It's like coming home. The food is always so good. The Sonny's Cuban, brisket sliced and smothered in sauce, pulled pork sandwich on garlic toast, heaven help me...the crinkle cut fries. I could eat a plate or two of just fries and die happy. Sonny's is always good, but this is a great Sonny's. Great, now I'm hungry, again.;)
First time visiting Sonny's in FWB. Back in GA, the two there had a good reputation. I had been craving some BBQ lately and it smelt delicious as we drove by so we decided to stop in and eat. This place did not disappoint!! The food was just as good as the smell! We got the brisket grilled cheese. I'm usually not the sandwich type of person but man, Oh man!! It was good. Service was great given that they had a shortage of workers. Patience on that part, those waitresses were running around everywhere and all seemed to be doing a good job!
Worse Experience I’ve ever had. Went to Sonny’s tonight had Olyvia serve us, our order came out wrong twice! Ordered the pork 3 ways with double sliced pork and was brought chicken the first time then brought pulled pork on the second attempt. The corrected order of sliced pork never came and when we inquired about it the first time her response was “oh yeah” like she had forgotten. We waited another 15 minutes watching her serve several other tables all for the sliced pork to be delivered to the wrong table after a 3rd time of having to check up on our corrected order we just asked for it to go. There was absolutely no urgency or care to try and correct the mistakes that had been made and no apology for the inconvenience, we should have paid at all. Add that on top of not one refill,tiny ribs, have to wait 10 minutes to be brought silverware and disappointing food to say dissatisfied would be putting it nicely.
Went on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. We had excellent service and very tasty food. We had appetizers of fried pickles, corn nuggets (actually suggested powdered sugar with them which we thought was weird but ended up being very good) and the pork egg rolls the pork eggrolls weren't bad but probably wouldn't order again they really had no taste at all.For main We had the sampler 2 different ways and both were great. Kids had a pulled pork salad and a brisket sandwich. We actually had a Togo box which is rare for us and we all left full. Very satisfied, will go again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Sonny's visit over spring breal.Our server Francis was awesome!Fun & speedy, on top of her job!!The food was so delicious & the atmosphere is chill & relaxed.
Went to Sonny’s tonight for dinner and was extremely disappointed. The onion rings used to be my favorite but they switched from breaded to batter. Needless to say I won’t be ordering them again, breaded are way better. The fries were off as well. Don’t know if they changed the oil or the fries weren’t cooked all the way but they tasted like frozen fries I can make at home. All 3 of our dinners were very skimpy on the meat for the sandwiches as well. We won’t be going back any time soon. It used to be our go to spot
Always an acceptable BBQ go to. JK, my favorite BBQ place, love the smoked turkey, Mac and cheese and corn muffins. The service is always good, and the food is even better then that. Keep up the good work!
