Service was great. Bacon wrapped scallops and fried crab claw appetizers were good. Entrees were not. Never had white American cheese on French Onion soup before now. We were told it was Provolone. Ha! My “Trigger” was previously frozen as were my veggies. My husbands ribeye was flavorless as well as my friends Filet Minion. My husband had a steak knife but had to use his pocket knife to cut his steak. We all are not feeling well now. Our entrees were not worth $50-$60 each.
This was a wonderful choice for our anniversary dinner. The food was excellent as well as the service and atmosphere. Thank you John Richardson for being such an informative and courteous server. I highly recommend!
The owner snatched my filtered water out of my hand with out asking. She then told me if I could read English I should have read the sign up front. I need filtered water and will not drink tap water for my health. I couldn't believe how the owner treated us. I have never been treated like this before. The owner was rude when the situation didn't require that. The young hostess was very nice and was tried to explain the situation to the owner, but she would not listen.
I eat the filet mignon with steak fries. it was one of the best I've had. I eat one of my favorites for dessert, creme brulee. It was AMAZING
Was not impressed by far. The only thing that was good was the dessert. Blue cheese dressing wasn't chunky and the grilled fish was dry.
Started off they were busy and we didn't get drinks for almost 30 min. After that everything was outstanding! Waiter was very nice and had a great knowledge of the menu and local seafood. Fried crab claws and bacon wrapped scallops were great. I got the tuna special and my wife got the filet special and both were perfectly cooked. Ended with the strawberry cake and was not disappointed. I will definitely be coming back.
It has the feel of a restaurant far more expensive than it is . The prime rib is the best in the area. Everything we have tried on the menu has been great. The servers are all top notch but they have been short staffed lately but it's not totally their fault. For a reasonably priced restaurant with excellent atmosphere and food, I consider it one of the best in the area.
Rude, unacceptable behavior from front staff. Had reservations for four, one person could not make it. We three arrived five minutes early and informed front person we were one short. There were visible open tables and the hostess could or would not seat us. I asked what the problem was and was told she couldn’t seat us until someone told her where to seat us. The manager and owner were standing five feet from us laughing and chatting while we just stood there, ignored. We waited ten minutes while this went on then just left. I have no understanding of this. We were given no reason for the hold up. It seemed just rude and incompetent.
The two dishes we had the carbonara and shrimp pad Thai were delicious. The wedge salad was not only very good but could have been an entree. The chocolate creme brulee was yummy and the presentation beautiful. Very good service. Lovely decor.
After a fifteen minute wait for a table, which is fine - waits are normal, we were seated. But then nobody came by the table. We were patient for another half hour before deciding to go somewhere else. While waiting, a homeless man came into the restaurant and asked for money for food. I was able to help him out, so the night wasn't a total loss. I hope that man sleeps well with a full tummy. I do want to try this place, but I was really disappointed that nobody came by our table. We were there for our daughter's birthday. Maybe we'll try again sometime.
