We had the best waitress, Michelle, at RCT this Saturday. She was graciously pleasant, educated, patient, and she just felt like family! She explained the platters to us. She was prompt and attentive. She was patient and engaging when my son couldn't decide on his platter. The food was good the experience was great!
Rick’s is a nice unsuspecting Seafood restaurant! They had limited staff, but my family and I got in right before the rush. We ordered off the lunch menu along with the grouper nuggets and sautéed crab claws. The grouper nuggets were super good! The crab claws were a little bland. I got the crab cake and fried shrimp lunch platter with veggies. The crab cake was great, and the shrimp and hush puppies were super good. Our waitress was awesome!
I wasn't not in any way prepared for the absolute yumminess from this little hole in the wall joint but,but, am super glad we ordered..We got 2 shrimp and Oyster meals with a seafood player and an oder of stuffed crabs with all the trimmings.Oh. My. Goodness!!!There was not a single complaint about anything!!The waitress was really helpful about the online menu and making recommendations. One in our party has sever allergy to peppers (all) and, no not just being a weenie. Trust me, I have had to take them to the hospital enough times before someone finally ordered an allergy test to find out exactly what the allergy was.Kate took my request seriously.It was a meal fit for a king. No lie.But, the thing that just cinched this review is that they were actually closing for the day when I went to pick up my order!Never complained or made me feel bad.Great service. A cool interior. Excellent interior.If you think about passing up on this place, don't say I didn't tell you!Check them out
First time here and it didn't disappoint! We ordered a few platters plus extra Crab and I got the Ribeye...boy was it yummy! Our waitress was top notch, she made sure we were all well taken care of from start to finish! The food itself was really good, all of it prepared properly and tasted fresh and came out hot. The next time we're in town I'll definitely eat here again! Maybe next time I'll catch the key lime pie before it sells out?
We found this restaurant on our way back home. Decided to try it out. Glad we did . We had a great server and the food was really good. The crab soup is amazing
My husband and I stumbled on this restaurant during a September 2021 visit and enjoyed our meal. We visited this time again with extra family. As remembered, the service was excellent and the food above average for local seafood restaurants. A plus for us was easy parking and no waiting. It’s not fancy and doesn’t feature amazing views, but the other attributes makes it a winner.
Three of us had good food and great service. Nice local flavor, not fancy, seated right away. Fried oysters, grilled shrimp & crab cakes.. Server was super with drinks, staff communicated well, no bickering. Tipped well, very well.
Consistently good service and great food. I’m a picky eater and they always always cook my food the way I like it. Prices are right on par for the area. I love this place.
We chose this diner because of the reviews and we had just visited the USAF Armament Museum. There is very little atmosphere - more like a diner. Service was okay but server seemed over energized or else he was running the whole restaurant. The fried oysters and steamed shrimp were very good. The crab cake had a lot of filler and the fried shrimp tasted ordinary. Some of the fried food was too well done. But they do have the most wonderful key lime pie! Best of all the prices were very reasonable for seafood in this area. Beer was a little trendy. So would have to say that this couple was half and half on reviews - half great and half okay.
Tyson was a great waiter. He was really attentive despite being the only waiter for the whole restaurant today! He even got me a deviled crab because he had "crab connections" ?? (the rest of my family came in later and had the back room and he had them, too, my husband and I tipped him very well.)
