Amazing service from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. We tried the fried pickles, brisket and cheeseburger. The fried pickles had a little bit thicker breading than most but were very tasty. The burger wasn’t anything crazy but had good flavor and was cooked well. The brisket had a smoky flavor and was absolutely delicious (and incredibly tender).
Been twice. Last week we were there during a pool tournament. Crowded but we were able to get a table after waiting a few minutes. While we waited we ended up talking to the owners. Great folks working hard to make it happen.Just to be clear, the atmosphere here is more like a large sports bar that serves great food and less like a restaurant only. Everyone had BBQ (pulled pork, brisket and ribs) and I can tell you it is the best in the FWB area. Sides were good too, including homemade coleslaw and meaty baked beans.A bit unusual for a BBQ place, they also make pizza. Our area is lacking in the pizza department especially if you just want pizza and beer without the white tablecloth treatment. We went back yesterday with another couple just to check out that side of the menu. They have calzones too, but no other pasta, spaghetti, lasagna etc. We ordered the 16 inch Supreme and asked for it to be extra crispy. While waiting I had a side salad which was larger than I was expecting with really good dressing. Pizza took a bit to come out but let me tell you it was worth the wait. Our Supreme was cooked perfectly as I requested and full of meats and veggies. I am a pizza nut and I am telling you this is the best (IMO) in the FWB area.Poppy C’s has recently moved from Navarre and they are still getting things settled at the new place in FWB. They use plastic knives and forks and I prefer silverware but that is a small knit pick. And BBQ is definitely the focus of the menu. But somehow they have managed overnight to become the best BBQ and the best pizza joint in FWB at the same time. Quite an accomplishment. I will be a regular for sure.
The Wagu Po boy was very tasty! Glad to have a good BBQ restaurant near my office. I wish the sauce was on the tables and pickles were sweet not dill. But overall Great!
Awesome food and atmosphere, the owners make you feel like family and are on the floor greeting and thanking people for visiting. The BBQ brisket and pork are by far the best authentic bbq in the area. The services is quick and the wait staff is excellent. I highly recommend going to eat or enjoying the bar with friends.
Best Banana Pudding I have ever had!! The staff is very friendly, welcoming, definitely makes you feel like family, and the food here is superb. Was my first trip today, and definitely will not be my last. Definitely recommend this to anyone that loves BBQ. The Brisket didn’t need any sauce, was seasoned to perfection, and melted in my mouth. Absolutely amazing!!
I can't say enough about the food. It's fabulous. The pull pork sandwich was fall off the fork tender, seasoned great and on a wonderful bun. I like that you get to pick your own sauce. The bartender Terri told me some people mix them together and boy was she right. I mixed the Carolina and Sweet and it was perfect. Sweet with a little bite. Best Cheese Curds I've ever had here. And the the Mac and cheese was the bomb. I like that the owner Caitlin uses the small shells type pasta as they than get coated throughout. She makes them with 4 different cheeses. Creamy deliciousness. Oh yeah and the banana puddings is to die for. I will be stopping here every week.
After you eat BBQ brisket in Texas, it ruins most brisket for you. Not at Poppy Cs the brisket was so juicy and flavorful you dont even need sauce. But get some sauce anyway cause it’s awesome. I don’t even like bbq beans I just tolerate them. Their beans tho, are amazing. Big fan. Wish I wouldn’t have eaten breakfast so I had more room for their food. I’d put expletives throughout to enhance the explanation how good the food was but Google says no. Staff very warm and friendly. Next time I’m in town definitely stopping by again.
Best bbq around! I’d recommend anyone that’s in Navarre to stop by and give this place a try. The portions are filling and everything is made in house. The quality of the food surpasses those of surrounding establishments
Master of BBQ by far w love n attention to details to make it Right! I can't imagine a better place other than to have side option of rice in my opinion. This is where I remember the wonderful smoked ribs as never before was it this good.
It was the best pulled pork and brisket sandwiches !! The staff & service was awesome! The owner personally introduced himself which is unheard of now a days.. definitely worth the trip !
