We've lived here for 8 yrs and decided to see for ourselves if it was really as bad as we thought. The best thing I can say is the large amount you can eat at the buffet.. if you dare and the sweet little old lady serving us. From dirty seating to room temp-warmish fish, chicken, veggies, things are supposed to be hot that aren't, hoping we don't get food poisoning. The hibachi you could at least get hot but the cabbage looked like it was a week old and the raw chicken was sitting in chicken juice but dry on top with raw shrimp. Yuck. The raw beef was all dried up.They even will tag 3.99 extra if you leave 'large amounts of food' on your plate.We didn't even attempt to eat the sushi.The cashier was not friendly or helpful.Never coming back.

The waitors wear masks. Mandates have been removed long ago by governor. Like when is this going to stop?? 2 years, 5 years? Enough! It's toxic, provides 0 protection & causes disease. We don't want other's diseases. Really! It's totally uncomfortable. The food is not replaced as it should be. Food should be fresher. Not horrible but could be better. Mongolian.grill was decent. They sell jewelry but way over priced. All in all food needs to be fresher & have more spice & taste.
Lots of upside to this place (we've eaten here before on other visits to the area): It has a hibachi grill option...serves beer and wine....service is prompt and attentive...clean surroundings (unique building)...great variety on the buffet. I would suggest to management to cease allowing the ice-cream freezer to be self-service. Small, unsupervised children place their hands anywhere and cough on everything...as many workers that they have in this restaurant, they can afford to have one person serve as ice-cream scooper!
Was looking for somewhere to eat nearby where I'm staying, and saw the sign. Quick google search and find out it was a buffet. I always enjoy a good buffet with sushi. Took my time eating the delicious food, with its decent selection. Everything tasted wonderful, except for one item. It wasn't bad, just bland. If I happen to be on the area again, will have to stop in.
Passing through and stopped here for an early dinner. They were able to quickly accommodate our party of 7. We were pleased because there was something for everyone. The sushi was great and the magolian grill was a really good addition. We end our dinner with ice cream and they had a nice variety. We were happy and full.
We tried Ocean Buffet for the first time tonight while on our vacation. After reading reviews, we tried it. We were extremely disappointed in the lack of freshness and taste of all of the different foods they have on the buffet. We tried to stay positive even though the foods looked like they had been in the steamer pans for quite awhile. Then when we started eating it was one disappointment after the other! Even the noodles were old and sticky tasting....definitely not freshly made. That was true of all of the dishes we tried while trying to find anything good. We gave up and just paid for our food which was painful considering how awful the quality of the food was. Save your money and go anywhere else!
Me and My Mother went there for my birthday, I love how quiet it is in there, and the food in my opinion has a food variety of fruits. And its really yummy, I saw one of those lucky cats and I bought myself one too. I've enjoyed our time and Thank you for the accommodation. Looking forward to eating there again.
Very friendly staff and super delicious food at a reasonable price. Was seated quickly and was eating within minutes. I liked the selection and while I could have eaten more during my visit, I was able to control myself. I will try to visit again when I'm in the area again
When our friends suggested we meet them at the Ocean Buffet for lunch we thought they were kidding. We never go to buffets. They assured us they had been before and that they thought we would also enjoy it. And we did! The selections and variety were very good, more than we could sample! Everything we tried was hot and fresh. The restaurant seemed clean and pleasant staff. We were amazed by the price! We have lived here for 23 years and discovered a new place!
