Our server was attentive and good. Some of the other staff members not do much. Our food was good the only dish that was well below the standard was the omelette. Not worth the price…hardly any ingredients and the eggs were rubbery. Either they let the eggs sit out too long and don’t fluff them or they are using boxed/liquid eggs but it didn’t seem fresh at all.My eggs were perfect over medium, my husbands steak was a nice portion and our son enjoyed his French toast. We love the old diner feel!

Increased prices and reduced portion size. Great staff and food is great, but they have priced me out as a customer. $14 for four slices of French toast? They were always a local place that everyone could afford, but no longer. So sad. I know it's hard right now with the economy, but it's hard for everyone. It feels like tourist gouging, but it's typically been a place for locals. I'll stick to Waffle House and Cracker Barrel where the food is just as good but $5 less per meal per person. Service was great, and everyone was friendly, facilities were clean, but prices are not worth the food you get.Edit: Okay, added a star. Their bacon is out of this world.

I was more than disappointed with a flat $15+ omellette advertised on their menu as, "SUPER SIZED!"... Our home fries were large and had a burnt grease taste to them. Neither of us ate them. My wife's sausage gravy and biscuit were good, but the biscuits were flat with no rise to them. BEWARE of the Ala Carte pricing. Service started off ok, but I never received the ketchup I asked for when I placed my order or tea refills. My wife finally went to the hostess station before we left to get a refill on my tea. Overall; it was a poor breakfast choice. The restaurant was semi busy ~9 am with lots of tables available. Our visit may have been a one off based on other reviews, but I can guarantee we'll never be back so our seat will always be available at Neighborhood Cafe... Mgmt not notified... Wife add's our waitress was no where near overwhelmed with tables. I sincerely hope everyone's experience is better than ours if you choose to eat here. Pictures are worth a thousand words...

Our party of 9 had lots to celebrate! We were so happy that the Neighborhood Cafe staff was so accommodating and helpful! Even though they said they couldn't take a formal reservation when we called ahead, they were still ready for us when we arrived and we were seated immediately in our own private, quiet nook! We felt so special during our important family gathering. The food was delicious and our server was perfect - keeping us happy the whole time. Our group had belgian waffles, garbage omlettes, country ham and eggs and more - with large portions that satisfied everyone. Highly recommended!

Impressive! The restaurant: clean. Staff: friendly and attentive (even at busy time). Food: correct, hot, and good portion. Was very impressed with cleanliness and the food safety habits. Very safety conscious. Great staff. Now: on the favorites list for certain.

We stumbled upon this place while spring breaking in FL. I was kinda skeptical at first because it was someplace new. We waited for about 10 minutes for a table. Once we were seated the waitress took our order and the food was out in less than 15 minutes. That was good timing being that the restaurant was packed. The food was DELICIOUS and the service was GREAT!!!

A good place to go for breakfast. One of the specialities is omelets. I had the garbage omelet. It was good. Service was great.

Simple and Sweet, just like this establishment. Just the way I like my local places!Staff was very polite, food came out quickly, and MAN their cheese omelet was very nice! Next time I'm in town I'm coming back for sure!

Service was wonderful! We missed her name because she was so cheerful that we just hit it off. Food was OK. Your normal breakfast fair. I ordered their "Supersized" spanish omelet and I was not what I call supersized. It looked to be a 3 egg? Omelet. Their weren't a large amount of ingredients either. It had a good flavor but even with the side of chili I added it was just average. My wife got the cheese grits ham and egg ala cart and she enjoyed her grits and she is a southern gal so she knows her grits!

Bacon egg and cheese omelette was very good. The cheese grits were not the best. Sweet and plain. Adding butter and salt helped but still not great. Biscuit was good but could be better. For it being a breakfast and the price, I expected better. I should have mentioned that the staff were very friendly and pleasant and the restaurant itself was nice.
