Service was horrible. Our order was forgotten and the food was not even close to worth it. Shame because it was a nice location
Ate dinner here as a last minute place to go. Service was not that great. Two younger girls as a waitress. I requested another drink politely and waitress said she was deaf, which is weird because she obviously heard what I asked? Not sure why I was treated that way but unnecessary for sure. I usually try to be a very easy guest. Food was decent not worth what we paid for. Atmosphere was of course outside, humid, and a little rainy. Plan on going somewhere else where you’d receive better service and less attitude from a one of the waitresses.
Great staff the food was definitely good! The prices and timing of our order delivery was great! Even drink prices were better than expected!! This party of 10 was highly satisfied!! 10/10 recommend!!!
Loved this place Exactly what every Tiki beach bar should be. Off the beaten path, Dog friendly, Casual, outdoor cabanas, on the water, with a good variety of drinks, and surprisingly awesome food, and most importantly friendly and accommodating staff. So happy we found this place. All the seafood we had was fresh and delicious. That's saying a lot coming from a couple New Orleanians.
Delightful waterfront setting. Great service and fresh food. Interesting menu and drink selections with great music in the background.
The G.I. Jade burger was great! I am not a mayonnaise fan, so I got it without the garlic green sauce and it had tons of flavor on its own. The burger was seasoned well. Came with tasty steak fries. The Sierra Nevada Hazy Lil Thang was delicious. Hanging out under the tiki "hut" was fun. The band was a hoot! The Red Moon Travelers are a great cover band with original songs as well!
The food was pretty good and it was nice being on the water. Menu was very diverse. Decent beer selection. However, do NOT go here if your party is over 5 people. We went with a big group, pulled up a bit before 7 and the last plate didn't get to our table till a bit after 9. Even drinks took forever. I understand that large groups can be difficult for some kitchens, but at least give us a heads up. 2 hours is crazy.
We started the night trying to eat at The Shack (ehich is amaxing by the way) but they had an hour wait so we ventured over to GI Jades. The place looked neat. Right on the water with the tiki atmosphere. We were seated fast and we had a large party so we just went with it. We ordered a variety of items with my husband ordering their most expensive appetizer and both of us ordering fish baskets for our meals. My husband ordered a beer to drink and it took me asking twice for him to finally get it as she said someone else must have took it. Everyone's food came out but my husband's appetizer nor meal hadn't been brought out. I enjoyed my fish but half of our party didn't like their food as they said it was overwhelmed with garlic. When asked about the appetizer or my husband's meal (since everyone else's food had been eaten at this point) she told us that another patron stole his food and she was dealing with it. This patron I believe worked there but was sitting at a table with friends. He finally got his appetizer and meal after the rest of us had completed eating and she showed him a receipt to show proof she put ithe order in even though the receipt only had one of our fish baskets on it. He didn't enjoy his fish and the appetizer had too much garlic to enjoy. I assumed something would be comped with all of the trouble he had to get his beer or any of the food he ordered but it wasn't. The service was super slow too...would not recommend!
This place has outstanding food and an even better atmosphere. Awesome vibe. Really enjoyed the oysters Rockefeller and the musicians playing allman brothers and credence was so cool too. Highly recommend.
Great place and highly recommended.Bar tenders were friendly and attentive .I ordered wings and was told to mix the hot and the sweet chili sauces and get them extra crispy and extra wet - game changing.
