Im editing my review from 3 years ago. The food is always very consistent and very delicious. Lately the service has been much quicker than before (Why I previously had a 2 star). You cant go wrong with any of the bento boxes and sushi rolls! Id recommend trying this place if your in town!
This is an old school restaurant that cares about the people they serve. To ensure you don’t buta bottle of sake you don’t like, Ms. Chong, the owner, insists you sample whatever you like. We found our favorite and purchased a bottle from her cooler of selections.The food is fantastic especially the garlic chicken, the steamed pork dumplings (best ever!), and the spicy Jaime Roll — named after our fave man in Walton Beach.Ms. Chong treats every person that walks in the door with the utmost respect and love regardless of your dress, orientation, color, or any other point of differentiation. Her warmth is palpable and real.
Absolutely wonderful place to eat. Very impressed by the food and hospitality. Everything Is made in house including the sauces and appetizers! Mrs Chong is such a sweet lady and does pretty much everything herself. The decor is unique and the atmosphere is lovely. Amazing sushi and entreés, would highly recommend to anyone who lives or comes through Fort Walton Beach. Especially if you enjoy Asian/Japanese cuisines!
Me and my wife tried this restaurant and never coming back again. Waited for an hour and 30 mins for stir fry noodles and bulgogi and 4 mins for the sushi rolls. We were the only customer when we walked in. After 30 mins another couple walked in. They got their food before us. Wow. Then waited another 30 mins for our appetizers. And the sushi I ordered is like chinese buffet style sushi. The quality of the fish was horrible.
Great service, serene restaurant, and tasty sushi. Would eat here again and again, recommend highly if your looking for quality sushi.

We lived in Okinawa for 4 years and Dosirak House is the absolute best we’ve ever had. Mrs Chong adds a personal touch that nobody else can come close to matching. The house roasted sesame seeds, the seasoned crunchy topping, and the homemade sauces & spices take her sushi dishes to a higher level. Must trys are the Oki Roll, the Sunrise Roll, and the Miami Heat.
We found our new sushi home! My boyfriend has be stationed in Japan and Korea and never liked sushi until now. The staff are so friendly and make every roll personal tasting experience.I wish I would have taken pictures of the food, but it was so good I forgot. I’m a huge egg drop soup critic and @Dosirak is by far my favorite in Fort Walton Beach! It was my first time trying Tako Tako (octopus) and it is definitely something I will order again. I had Noddle combo bowl which I have been craving noddles for awhile and it did the job! On top of that it come with a ginger salad that has homemade ginger dressing with roasted sesame seeds were to die for. My boyfriend had the Texas roll and he loved it!Portion sizes were just right. I had enough noddles to take a good size to work for lunch. Definitely a secret gem I wish I would have found sooner! We will definitely be back!
Outstanding staff and customer service. Food took a little longer than usual due to only one cook at the time. The sushi chef personally came to our table and modified different toppings for me to try. I'm not usually big on sushi, but I stuffed myself with a "Texas roll" and a "Tako Tako roll" with crispies and eel sauce. The egg drop soup and fried noodles were also the best I've had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
