Mediocre food. Slow delivery. Lackluster cook (clearly not a chef). Indifferent wait staff. To me this all means bad management. How this "restaurant" won awards defies belief -- they must have bribed the reviewers.I went with my parents to this place, because my mother liked it. We ordered a pizza for lunch. My mother wanted a vegetarian half and my father wanted sausage. The server told us it was no problem, they can make it half-and-half. After waiting 45 minutes, the pizza arrived. It was the most sorry looking pizza I have ever seen (frozen pizzas look better), served on a cheap looking aluminum pizza pan with a significant warp that caused it to rock. So much for presentation. Even worse the dough was not even cut completely, so we had to cut it with a knife. Is it really that difficult to fully cut a thin crust pizza? The pizza tasted alright, but the amount of vegetables and sausages seemed skimpy. Then the bill arrived. We expected to pay for half of a sausage pizza ($15/2) and half vegetarian pizza ($16/2). Instead we were charged $16 + $4 extra. There was no mention of the extra charge when we ordered the pizza. When we asked the the server about the extra charge, she said "That's just how we do it." I was livid and told the server, "That's not right. We will not becoming back here ever again." She didn't seem to care.I have eaten in ordinary restaurants in Italy. This is a pathetic excuse for an Italian restaurant that rips of its patrons and just doesn't care.

First visit and sadly very disappointed. This is my first poor review this year. The chicken parmesan was burnt and dry. The frutti de mare had no taste. The sauce was supposed to be red yet looked clear. The shrimp tasted toasty or burnt as well. At no time during our meal were we asked about the food taste. We left most of the meal. We did not tell the waitress. She was busy and seemed rushed. We did not want to worry her. Not her fault. We still left her a tip. The toasted ravioli is a great appetizer. The restaurant was clean although a little noisy. Sorry Clemenza. Read good reviews but you did not perform as expected.

Very quite when I arrived for lunch on my day off and I did not have a great experience. My pasta was low-mid. It might have been better if it came out fresh and at a hotter temperature. I was never checked on during my meal and waited for our 10 minutes for the waitress to recognize I needed my check and then it took about another 10 minutes to actually receive my check. Definitely not worth the $20 for a meal.

We have been going to Clemenza’s for the past four years. The staff is amazing (Krystal, Pietra and Ms Music) and have always made our time there enjoyable. The establishment is fortunate to have such great employees. The owner stands around and never answers the phone nor helps out. They have periods where they are extremely busy and the owner stands there eating and attempting to act important conversing with the clients. We called and left a message for a reservation last week. When we arrived with our guests the owners wife was out front with a group of others taking photos. She flippantly said they were closed for the evening due to a private party. No one attempted to call us in response to our reservation. We won’t return.

Busted during lunch: Great atmosphere, delicious food. We had Pizza, Cheesecake, and Limoncello Mascarpone Cake ?

Their food was delicious! The wait staff was a little inattentive though. We got Chicken Alfredo and Italian Crepes.

Not busy at all during our visit , asked for house salad and a margarita pizza well done my friend a salad and Philly sandwich . While waiting , the manager or some one on staff was eating in the pizza making station using her fingers to pick up food and eat. Didn't find this very sanitary as this is the same station that my pizza is to be fixed on... the pizza was done and sat for quite a moment , salads came out and they brought over a cold soggy pizza . They couldn't put it back in and remade another... when the sandwich arrived it looked like it was pulled from the freezer and was thrown on the grill , it's bread was so burnt that's all you could taste. Second pizza come out and was .. better. . The water was horrendous, seriously like out of a hose plastic flavor ... I've come once before and it was amazing,.. this was the worst ever . I won't recommend or come back ..... entire service was .... not enjoyable what so ever ....

The food was AMAZING! I had the Spinach Ricotta Ravioli with Alfredo and My Dad had the Chicken Parmesan. Delicious! Afterwards, I had a chocolate mousse that or server recommended and He had the limoncello cake. ? Heaven on a plate!!! And Elizabeth (our server) had the sweetest disposition and spirit which just made the whole experience wonderful! We talked about it the whole way home ☺️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We decided to eat here for dinner. We did not have a reservation, but it was not busy. We did get a table and waited for 15 minutes before we were greeted by our waitress. I was about to get up and leave, then she came to our table. The portions of the food were big enough to split between 2 people. My husband and I ordered a calzone and a larger house salad. The house salad was not good. It had theire housemade dressing which seemed like it was missing something. The calzone was ok, it hardly had any cheese and the filling was all in the center. This was not a very good Italian restaurant. I could go to olive garden and eat better for cheaper. Don't waste your money here!!!

I made a last minute telephone reservation and the staff was kind enough to get us on the books. On arrival, we only waited a few minutes, which was cool! That's where the disappointment started. It took until after our appetizer was delivered to realize we had no utensils. We were a table of four and received three pieces of bread and two big plates of oil (I don't blame our waiter for this part). Mostly, the food was disappointing. The pizza hardly had any cheese; the chicken was tough, dry, and overcooked; the sauces (we ordered various pastas) were overly greasy and bland; and the two thicker pastas (penne and fettuccine) were both undercooked. All in all, it wasn't worth the money. Too bad, because they seemed nice and were in a convenient location. I'm not a professional chef, and I definitely don't know the pressure of a slammed kitchen. What I do know is that my food at home comes out way better than that. I won't be coming back.
