Don't let the negative reviews keep you from having some really good (sea)food! I almost went somewhere else, based on some of the reviews about this place. I'm so glad I didn't!Check it -- This is the ONLY place I've been where, after eating my meal, I didn't feel hungry .. and that's saying something! I ordered the Fried Shrimp and I am extremely pleased. Never before have I bitten into a Shrimp and have it fill my mouth. And, mmMMmm! Delicious! We went early to beat the crowd. Got there at 16:00 and had no problem getting a table.Yes, I would recommend this place.
Food is ok , I guess. Location on the water is nice. The band was OK. Bar tenders were very attentive and nice.
On vacation in FWB, came for the kareoke, which was really fun! The outside dining area was great with plenty of greenery, and our server was pleasant. However, food and (mixed) drinks were very overpriced and disappointing. 3% fee if paying with credit card. While the pickle chips were yummy, the fish was underseasoned and just ok. The salad with grilled shrimp was probably the best thing the table ordered. The spicy margarita was watery and one 'not spicy' jalapeno was thrown in. Would recommend for beers and music, but not dinner.
Fast seating, atmosphere was good. That was the only 2 positive things I can say. Food was okay, prices were high. 224.00 for 4 people with 36 added gratuity for our party size. For 1 person they brought out his ticket for 96.00. They added $60 for gratuity. They said they fixed it and it was still $55 for 1 person, his meal was $33. Be aware and pay attention to your ticket.
Nice restaurant, with live music, and karaoke some nights. The crab cakes were delicious. Huge burgers. We also really enjoyed the shrimp appetizer, more than enough for two people.
Great location, plenty of parking. The food was spectacular. I had the baked oyster sampler, and I am a connoisseur of oysters, these were good. Server was phenomenal. They offer live music daily which is neat. I would recommend if you like oysters and a good atmosphere.
Great atmosphere and good food! The crabby oysters were my favorite. Awesome calamari. Went there with family and everyone was happy!
Location is awesome, service was great, and I really liked the refreshing happy hour cocktail. The food was hit or miss - the oysters were fresh, but really small. I wish I had gotten the charbroiled oyster sampler, my friend said it was delicious. The She Crab soup was disappointing, there was not much crab and the cream had broken, making it sort of mealy. The boiled shrimp were large and well-seasoned, not overcooked. The red beans and rice was a bit runny. I think the best meal was the fish sandwich ordered by my son's friend - the fish was a large portion, cooked perfectly, with a yummy sauce! I would definitely go back, but now I have a better idea of what to order!
I came to the restaurant from a recommendation of my husband’s friend. The food was good. We tried two different types of oysters, steamed and the sampler platter. The oysters were pretty good, but I’ve had better at a restaurant in Miramar Beach.I ordered the fish of the day which was Mahi, and my husband ordered the stuffed fish (which had blue crab inside). The food was good and the Island Girl drink was good as well. It took a little while for our food to arrive, which could be due to limited staff because of the pandemic, but I enjoyed myself.I’ll be happy to come back and eat here whenever we come back and visit the Destin/Fort Walton beach area.
Our server was a trip (Charlie)-Knew the menu-I order the redfish with veggies-topped with a lemon hollandaise sauce-5 stars- Chuck ordered the Blacken Mahi topped with shrimp (shrimp were very small and too many)- 4.5 stars- We had fun- ordered key lime- had better-3.0 stars Would we go back- yes
