Jessie is so amazing and the hostess of the front both of them were awesome my dad is in a wheelchair now and this is the first place he wanted to come. Everyone did everything to help out what a wonderful celebration. The lady in the stilltshe had a photo with last year with his legs and this year with one missing. It was still a wonderul night and the food amazing and the staffs brilliant plus the fireworks rocked the night

Nice simple menu, laid back atmosphere. Beautiful view. Service was very good. Food was ok. He had shrimp and grits, presentation was not a thing…. And I had Southern Benedict. We will definitely go try other dishes.

It was a very horrible experience. I had family coming in from out of town and I had recommended going to AJ’s on the Bayou, since my previous experiences had all been good. My Spanish speaking son-in-law asked for a large table for 10 adults and 2 small children. We were told it would take about 20 minutes to prepare the table. I think we waited almost 30 minutes. We got seated outside, in the very back corner of the restaurant. Yes, it had a picturesque view of the sun setting over the bayou but afterwards, we were stuck in the dark. The street lamp did NOT offer good lighting and there were NO ceiling lights. The food took over an hour and a half to get to us. The hush puppies were burnt. My steak was cold and looked like a hockey puck but the baked potato was hot. My wife’s Cajun Pasta tasted like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for the whole hour and a half we had been waiting for the food. The waiter said he was making the strawberry/lemonade tea especially for my other son-in-law and the rest of the family that ordered it; and my son-in-law said it tasted delicious but after he drank it, it took like 20-30 minutes before the waiter came back to see if he wanted a refill or even to check on our drinks. My wife’s two cokes came out flat but no one ever bothered to ask. And there were other major discrepancies. Erin, I believe that was her name. She came out and said she was the manager or something like that; she listened to my complaint and gave me a 25% discount on the meal; didn’t charge me for the hush puppies, my plate or my wife’s plate or all the drinks and she gave us four coupons for future use, but the family no longer trusts my recommendations for local restaurants so I definitely do NOT recommend this one to anyone especially those who speak a different language.

Great View, Great Beer, Great People. Had a Shrimp Cocktail - it was a bit spicy but still good. Beer good and cold.

Stopped by as we got into town on a hunch to just try it! We enjoyed very much tried several drinks…all we enjoyed and refreshing. Had oysters on the half shell and run of the kitchen! Give them a try!

First off the service was excellent. Our waitress we had was one the best. She always checked on us, kept our drinks topped off and brought us what we needed quickly. Had a dozen oysters had they were delicious. Shrimp and grits were on point would definitely recommend that. We sat outside by the water and watched the sunset while enjoying the nice breeze. If you go here you won't regret it!

Great atmosphere. Great food. Reasonable prices. Service was good too. Definitely adding to the list of go -to places for seafood.

Very good service. We had the Peel and Eat Shrimp with the Wedge Salad and fresh dinner salad. The salads had generous portions and were delicious! The shrimp was a bit too salty and on the spicy side.

Employees need to work on their hospitality. We had great service from our waitress, but there was a blue haired girl, possibly a hostess, who was incredibly rude and hostile to us and another table. We were sat by our waitress in an area that was set up for a large party at 12:30 pm. The party was to arrive at 2pm, 1 1/2 hours later. We said we could easily be out before 2pm, and let our waitress know we would be gone before the big group came. However this hostess kept coming in and talking about how we were sitting where we weren’t supposed to, making us feel unwelcome and awkward. She also treated another table like this and approached them with hostility as well. We had finished eating and we were waiting for our waitress who had a full section to bring us our ticket 15 minutes before 2pm. When leaving, the hostess continued to be aggressive towards us. It was an overall awful and uncomfortable experience because of this woman. I came here three weeks in a row for crawfish on Saturdays with my friends. We will not be back and we will take our business elsewhere because of this experience.

Great prices. Good service. Awesome bands
