I love experiencing different culture foods. Walking in a restaurant and being introduced to different foods was wonderful!!! Great experience. Stew Beef, Pork & skin, Chicken bits. pineapple slush drink ??‼️
Stopped here on Friday night for dinner. The place is nice and the staff is friendly. Just a heads up, if loud sounds bother you should ask to be seated outside. They have the music volume a little on the loud side.I'm giving it a 4stars because I was very disapointed on the Alcapurrias. They were small and suggy. I could not pick them up without them just bending all over my fingures. One of the keys of the Alcapurrias is that they are crispy on the outside, but this ones were not. Also they barely had meat filling. :(Other than that, my churrasco and my husband's mofongo with shrimp was very good.
Service was amazing and we didn’t have to wait long for the food even though it was Mother’s Day. Love the mini alcapurias and mini sorullitos for starters. Of course we all order mofongo with different protein but I was a little disappointed when the mofongo didn’t have chicharrón in it and it was a little buttery which for me is more like mangú, however we enjoyed it very much, but definitely next time I will ask them to put chicharon on my mofongo.
Sadly they no longer use regular octopus for the octopus salad and are providing mini octopus which doesn’t taste the same. When calling to complain they don’t answer the phone and there is no message option. Sadly the quality is not there??

I ordered mofongo with fried chicken. Disgusting! Mashed plantains with tons of butter. Fried chicken was just awful!! Tasted days old. The outside of the restaurant needs power washing. The windows need cleaning and the planters in front need plants and not concrete pieces. Presentation is everything. I should of stopped right at the front door. First and last time. Don't know where they are getting all these good reviews. Save yourself the trip.
Mofongo King used to be my go to spot for homestyle Puerto Rican food. When they were in the food truck, the food was amazing.Ever since they moved to their store front, the food has been hit and miss. Recently the food was much better. I went today, 3/19/2022, to get a Puerto Rican staple, Alcapurria. I went expecting a nice size portion and was told they are minis and they come 6 in an order. That was a little different, but I'm willing to check out new takes on my favorite foods.I got home, and as you see in the pictures, they are really small. They were not cooked all the way through, leaving them soggy, instead of crispy. And they were skinny with little, to no meat. The flavor was still there but for $8, I want a more filling dish.As much as it pains me, I'm going to have to look for another spot to get my Boricua dishes. The staff is friendly, the service is good, but the food just isn't what I expect.
A while back, we had take out from this place and honestly, I was not a fan‼️I believe and giving restaurants and 2nd chance‼️ Ohhhhh boy‼️We went with some friends just tonight and man let me tell you how impressed I was‼️ The flavor, the I candy on our plates were just BEAUTIFUL‼️???? Look at the pics and go check them out‼️ If you are a pork person,, check out the Oversized Pork Chop‼️‼️‼️‼️ (In picture below) Friendly staff and cater to you without question‼️ ??????????
This place was good some time ago,Now the quality of the food has gone down and the prices up. Me and the wife went there two months ago and I told her we would never be back there again. The food wasn't good and the prices a little high for the amount and quality. Today we ended up there just to see if things had changed, but no. The food was terrible. It's a shame because it's a nice place. I honestly do not recommend this place.
I wanted to share my experience on my service today. It's disappointing the service I received. I ordered food and was told a few minutes. A few minutes turned out to be an half hour for one alcapurria. I was waiting by the bar and none of the workers approached me to ask me what I was waiting for. I had to approach a worker and ask where was my order. Every customer should be acknowledged not only the ones that apparently are always there or are having a drink by the bar. The Mexican restaurant next to you gives better service.. Just saying.
