Had wings and panko fish. The wings tasted like they were fried in the same oil as a troller load of fish and was quite unpleasant. Asked for extra crispy and they came out soggy. The tartar sauce for the panko fish had cinnamon in it which, I'm sorry Jamaica, you can't put cinnamon in everything. Overall, if you like to serve yourself at a restaurant and enjoy fish flavored gummy wings, this is your place.
Do NOT get the long blonde haired bartender at the bar. She is miserable. She was rude, ignored us and tossed things our way. She got our order wrong and then we realized she was eating the thing she forgot to give us. WHAT????? Can't make that up. Wish I knew what we did to deserve such poor service. Other guy at the bar was great. She ruined it and is the only reason for this review. Sorry Sharky's, may want to tell your people to leave if they are having a bad day instead of taking it out of your customers :(
We waited for over an hour to get our appetizer which was over cooked/burnt. Then our pizza never arrived after an hour and 15 min. We had to pay our tab and leave and honestly, I don't beleive that they had even started our pizza yet. We will never go back. No management. Phone never stopped ringing and they stated that they were too busy to take more orders and couldn't handle any more business. Very sad
The owner is friendly and the food is good...especially the pizza and turkey sub. The burger has too much mustard but it was good.
Had a nice cheap lunch. Great place to find all the expected seaside grub. Taps taste clean and there is a nice little selection of beers. Top 3 chowder I’ve ever had, and I would say my chowder consumption is in the tens of thousands of bowls. The gal working the counter is also an absolute charm.
Small restaurant with a fun atmosphere. It was pretty busy when we stopped in so we had to wait around 45 minutes for our food after waiting in line for a while. It was prime dinner time though. Overall a cute place with good food.
my family came here yesterday and we had a great lunch. the clam strips were the best I've had since a visit to Halifax, NS, many years ago. although it was very busy, we got our hot food quickly and everything was delicious and at a reasonable price. well done, Sharkey!
We ordered it to go... The price for a lunch was a little high... Then when we took out of the bag.. a real sandwich.. you can say you get what you pay for.. North Beach is such a drive but when your lunch is that good.. it makes it worth it..
Decent bar food and fair prices for drinks, with hard working service staff
Huge, yummy subs-- Can't beat em. Perfect spot for grabbing a bite to go on your way to the beach.
