Stopped in for a cafe con leche and a pastry. Both were awesome. Ended up back for lunch and had the Cuban sandwich lunch special. Absolutely outstanding sandwich, great value as well. Staff were very friendly and the place was very clean. Trust me no need to venture to Miami to find an authentic Cuban sandwich. I will definitely be back.
I have been enjoying this husband & wife owned Cafe for many years. Consistently serving delicious food & coffee, accompanied by warm welcoming personalized service. Copying services and a satellite post office are also available. Many tables inside means there is always a seat available. Give them a try and you'll soon return again! 5 Stars.
Cuban lunch with a side of stampsThis is a local gem. It is a counter service breakfast/lunch joint sharing space with a post office. Be aware that they are not open on the weekends. Most people seem to opt for the Cuban sandwich I went the Picadillo and was not disappointed. Flavor was good, portions were ample and the staff very friendly. Our tostones were a bit bland but the sweet plantains were very good. The food was served on paper plates and plastic silverware. There was plenty of space for inside seating and everything seemed clean. There is street parking and a lot across the street, If you have a hankering for some Cuban on weekdays before 3 give this place a try - recommended
It was lunch time and I was there so I tried it. I had a sandwich and it was super good. My friend had their Chef Salad which was also very good. Will definitely go back.
This place is delicious! Great food, great service, clean restaurant and small local business. Excellent value for the price. I love supporting small local businesses that have it all! This is a Hidden Gem! If I lived close to here, this is a place I would be coming to eat at regularly.
As I was waiting for my delicious Cuban sandwich to be prepared, I walked across the isle to the post office to mail a package. What a great time saver while on my lunch hour!
We have been eating breakfast and lunch here for the last four years. Love the sweet couple who own Mervis’ Cafe, always so pleasant and the food is excellent. A very local place with loyal customers.
Despite the road closure that confused Google maps...we found it. Tons of parking. Nice little place inside a building with a post office. Plenty of spaced out seating. We came for the Cuban coffee and my husband was very happy. The rice/bean/chicken burrito was excellent and too much for me to finish. He tried the pulled pork sandwich which he described as "fine". We'll be back.
The Cuban sandwiches are the best in the country. They used to be in West Palm Beach where I used to live, and was lucky enough to enjoy them anytime. I have traveled all over the country and try Cuban sandwiches everywhere I go. Mervis is still the best.
Merv was great 10/10. Food was fine. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
