If I could, I'd give them six stars! First off, the service is incredible - even with the long line an hour before closing time, those three young men and one young women were on top of it!We ordered Cherry Walnut, Black Forest, Mint Chip, and Lemon Sorbet. Each flavor is distinct and special in its own, and all are delicious! On top of the service, the ice cream is refreshing and silky. This is a great location with incredible service and even better ice cream that you must visit when you're in Port Saint Lucie!TIP: I would say that the second location on Port Saint Lucie Blvd is less busy than this one in the evenings, especially on the weekends, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't come here! Coming earlier in the afternoon would be your best bet from my experience.

I complain about prices to my wife all the time. Her usual response to me is "Steve, it's not the 1960's anymore". But $8 for an ice cream cone is crazy. But from the line out the door waiting for ice cream, I guess I'm the crazy one.Yes, Joy's Ice Cream is delicious. It tastes like the ice cream from Applegate's Farm that my Grandfather would take me to...it was the best. Joy's does have that old fashioned creamy fresh taste. The line did move fast. Even though we started from the door, it was only minutes until I had my 2022 $8 ice cream cone. I opted for the double scoop version. It was delicious. We decided to eat it our truck with the air conditioning on. I think that I got 3 or 4 licks in before the cone broke a few inches up from the bottom. My lighting fast reflexes allowed me to catch the top part....of courses ice cream first. Yes, I was holding $8 worth of chocolate ice cream in my right hand, the other piece in the left hand.My wife's quick thinking saved the day. She said she was going back in to get a cup. Of course I said try to get another empty cone...or better yet, a whole new ice cream cone. Only gone for a minute, she brings me an empty cup which I slid the drippy mess into...including my broken cone.I was able to finish my mess in short order. It was still delicious even kind of melted. Of course by the time we got back home, the ice cream had dried on my hands like a second skin. Nothing on my shirt, but my pants needed a good washing. So if you like great old fashioned tasting ice cream, head over to Joy's.

This place has some of the best Ice cream in town. Got here with my family and I got some soft serve Sunday. Very creamy and delicious. ?% Recommend. (Sorry no pics from me this time). They have a great selection to choose from, southern and regular.

Their ice cream is amazing. We were served so fast, and we had a large party of people. Everyone ordered something different and not one person was disappointed. They actually listen and give you what you want. Can’t wait to go back. Left wanting to go back in for more!

Sooooo good. I love the Jim minty cricket and the peanut butter marshmallow ice cream too. I’ve even had the basic strawberry and that was bomb too. So hard to pick one flavor. The ice cream also makes for a great gift, I buy pints of butter pecan for my dad on special occasions, gone in minutes. Not the most fancy place but they employ students that need a flexible job and I think that’s awesome and besides they have the best ice cream.

just nowNEW INTERRACIAL CAKE?!?! Im beyond disappointed and disgusted by the level of unprofessionalism from a place I used to speak highly about. Had my fiance reach out to Joy's for a custom 3 tier ice cream cake for my daughter's quinceanera, a very important day to Spanish fathers, specifically a scary moment, so I asked my fiance to handle that part. Below is the communication between the cake "decorator', the owner and her (my fiancé). After I read the statement from Janene the owner, and was extremely upset further by her response to my, not my fiancé dislike, mine, the father who's paying's dislike of the final product. You'll see the cake decorator was given concepts and creative freedom to do something unique and fun. The picture below as the final product speaks for itself. To assume we're belittling an employee and then have the employee message my fiance back as if she was the person upset blows me away. For context regarding the owners response. Apparently my fiance used to work for this location (unsure if there's multiples and I hope not) so I feel like the owner, originally not wanting to work on the cake was part of that issue to the reason why the cake was going to be sold to us without much care behind the work. I didn't and don't care about previous problems and wanted the best cake I could get for her the way she wanted and Joy's feel through and ruined an important part to my daughter's day.

Whenever we visit Fort Pierce and/or Nelson’s Farms, we always plan out trip so we can make our last stop at Joy’s Ice Cream. They make all their ice cream on site and have dozens of flavors to choose from. Their portions are large and their prices reflect this; however, not unreasonable. They also have great ice cream sandwiches made with large chocolate cookies and our favorites are the vanilla/chocolate swirl, the nutty peanut butter, and the mint chocolate chip. They are available in 6-packs. We also like to buy for our freezer and frequently buy a quart of crunchy marble and a pint of rocky road for when guests arrive. Sarah is a great server who makes our visits even more special.

Popped my Joys Ice Cream cherry finally! Ordered the single scoop chocolate and vanilla with hot fudge. Wow. Filling, delicious and worth every penny. The staff was super friendly and professional. Tons of flavors to choose from so it might take you a minute. I will definitely be back.

An old fashioned homemade ice cream shop with an eclectic array of flavors. The Peanut-butter and Marshmallow (Fluffernutter) was so on-point, I thought I was eating a frozen sandwich, INCREDIBLE!

Joy's Ice Cream is a wonderful treat for your entire family. Indoor and outdoor seating is available so really for any south Florida season. They are located next door to a great pizza place so we usually do a dinner then dessert thing at Joy's. Definitely worth a try.
