Found bugs in my cheese scambled eggs.. double waffles overcooked dry and crisp like expected of french fries. Waitress messed up 1st order, had to be remade, still messed up. Service was slow, waitress tried to short change me, when asked about it, she said "oh sorry" reached in her pocket for the difference. So if you are in no rush and enjoy being treated substandard, then this is the WH for you.
Service and food were great. Our server had the coffee to us almost as soon as we sat down. The breakfasts came quickly and they were we prepared perfectly. The cook appeared to be proud of his work and it showed in the presentation on the plate. A quick stop turned into a truly enjoyable experience.
Grits were WAY over cooked, bacon was burnt, eggs ordered over medium were barely over easy and super runny, waffle was lukewarm and sub par. The only thing stopping this from being a 1 star review was our waitress.. very polite and helpful even while busy
This place was the best. The staff was excellent and so excited to see people, they made us feel very special. The food was great, terrific waffle. Definitely going there again when we get back to Florida.
Probably the best waffle house I have been to. Staff was super friendly. Got ordered and food out in like 10 mins or less. Food isn't anything fancy but was tasty for us. About $10 a person so can't complain
Where else can you see your food cooking, get quick service, and be entertained as well - at the Fort Myers Waffle House on Daniels Parkway. Don’t come here expecting a fine dining experience and gentle treatment. The fun part is the banter among the waitresses, cooks, and customers. Those familiar with WH know this. Those who aren’t familiar should save their nasty reviews for places where they pay more than $8.00 for a wonderful breakfast meal!! Denise is the spirited waitress we love to have wait on us. Her attentive service has spoiled us. No other servers anywhere can measure up. Our young grandchildren love coming here to be included in the fun! The whole gang there is delightful- go enjoy!!
I feel bad for everyone that came in after us on March 5 at 12:10 am... there were 4 employees on staff, had half of the restaurant closed, and told everyone coming through the door that it was going to be a 30-45 minute wait. Then we ordered food and we both got half our meals. Got a half sandwich and other meal missing toast. Then our server in black started berating the cook loudly in front of customers... Granted there might might have been some factual info in the rhetoric, but that wasn't right. Food was hot and tasted like it should. We literally watched 30 customers walk out because the crew collectively wouldn't hustle. If the lady in black spent as much time hustling as she did telling people about the wait and belittling other employees, they might have had a fighting chance. Also they weren't taking take-out orders with 4 hotels in range..
I love the Waffle House, they never disappoint! Food is so yummy! Employees are super nice! Love the atmosphere and you can't beat the prices! Definitely recommend!
I love me some Waffle House food. The staff are very friendly and the service is fast and great. Waffles, eggs and bacon were fantastic.
Food was good. They were under staffed. Restaurant was crowded. Took about 10 minutes to get a seat then about 20 minutes to order and another 20 to be served. Even if fully staffed I think they are not equipped to quickly serve a full restaurant. They have a very small grill that cannot handle the load.
