Great food and service. Prices VERY reasonable. Had trout-excellent! Didn’t give 5 stars because hostess said no reservations taken ever, and our friends that we met that night had reservations, (so do they or don’t they?) and they Won’t seat you until entire party is there. Server did a great job with our large group. Very busy. Not a romantic date place, more loud, busy.
Nice local Restaurant that has been around for years. Plenty of tables, including a room that overlooks a man made pond. Popular Bar Area as well. Good menu selection and reasonable prices. The food was good as was the service. Better than your typical Chain Restaurant with plenty of parking. Located near the Publix Supermarket on the corner of Summerlin and Cypress Lakes Drive, Fort Myers, Florida.

We were in town visiting family and had dinner at university grill. We shared the calamari which was delicious (I especially loved their chipotle mayo, just the right amount of kick!) and I had scallops as my entree which were also fantastic! Gina was our server and she was top notch! She made us out-of-towners feel at home and was so attentive. Our drinks were never empty and our food came out super fast. Had such a wonderful experience there thanks to great staff! Will definitely be back when we’re in Ft. Myers again!
Went here for an early dinner, and it was our lucky day!! Our server was Cindi, and sawdust would have been good if served by her! What a gem!! We had soup, salad, haddock with Caesar and rice pilaf. All very tasty, but Cindi was, by far, the best thing in University Grill tonight!!! 50% tip,was not enough!!!
What a wonderful dinner! The baked haddock was delicious and our server, Gina, was so helpful with wine selections. We will definitely be back!

Stopped in on a busy Saturday (early evening). No reservation..no problem said the young lady at the hostess stand. Seated promptly and servers were there almost instantly. Precursor to the entire experience. Drinks, apps, entrees..all served in a very timely fashion (unusual these days with most restaurants & staff shortages). Crab bisque was tasty. Fish and chips for my wife—served piping hot. Wasabi salmon for me…great touch with the Panko crumb topping. Our server Gina was so gracious…a real delight to us. All-in-all, this was definitely a 5 Star experience. We will be back!

I felt the wait staff that took care of my table was apathetic and not very attentive. Never asked about after dinner drinks just brought the check. Never asked us about dessert. We were there for a celebration never identified or talked about it. It just was a big flat average C. Much better places to go in southwest Florida than there.
