Our group of 9 had a marvelous time thanks to great food and great service from Laurie. My wife had the Early Bird Daily Special which was cod, while I had a regular menu Broiled Seafood Combo. Both were superb. Early Bird Specials are just $15.99 and the regular menu not that much higher for most things. It's a busy place, and I can see why. So be sure to make a reservation. This place is a real treat!
Nine of our family booked a four pot Clam/fish Boil and had a marvelous dinner. It was fun, with crab hats and cute bibs, with an impressive presentation on the table. Each pot was filled to the brim with a wide variety of seafood, including a lobster in each, with a large bunch of seaweed that actually set it off very nicely., There was more than enough delicious fish for all of us and all are asking for another get together so we can do it again. Highly recommend it for a very enjoyable, and not that expensive, way to have a memorable meal.
I was excited to try after hearing how wonderful it is…. Service was friendly and atmosphere nice. I was extremely disappointed in the crabcakes. Usually a favorite dish of mine… looked like flat pancakes, a lot of filler, and very fishy taste. Other dishes ordered at my table however looked good. I would try this restaurant again, but order something different. For the price, I was not impressed.
Came into the restaurant around like 7pm and it was pretty full. No reservation and got sat right away with my buddy and I. We are both chefs an basically had to try a bunch of different stuff. Shrimp and Crab dip was pretty good. Stuffed Mushrooms were good but def needed to base the top filling with that butter from the dish. CLAM CHOWDER WAS FIRE! I've had a lot around here in SWFL and this was hands down the best I've had in a while. Buddy got fish and chips and it seems pretty fresh and the slaw was sweet the way I like it. I got the Broiled combo. Best part was the Scallops. Those melted in your mouth and were cooked to perfection. Overall it was well priced for the quality and service was good.

This restaurant and its staff are absolutely incredible. We are a 2 hour drive to this restaurant, and it’s worth every mile. We actually planned a weekend in the area just to enjoy another amazing dinner here. The best NE seafood in Florida by far. Holy Sh!t, this was an amazing meal. Celebrating my mom's 70th birthday, with some family and friends. There was 6 of us, plus my nephew in a highchair. The place was super busy, and it was completely understandable. Appetizers were great, not one complaint. Especially, the garlic bread they rushed out for my hungry little nephew to munch on. The dinners themselves were delicious, portions for the fisherman platter was crazy. I left with leftovers, that never happens. The only let down was that they had no more crab dip. ☹️ I don't remember my servers name, but she did an awesome job. The helpers as well, overall an amazing night. Thank you, and we will be back.
The lobster bisque was as good as back home in Rhode Island. I had the fried clams, they even had the bellies, it was excellent. One friend had the steamers for dinner, she said they were really good. My other friend had the lobster salad sandwich and said it was just like home. Best New England food I have had in a while. There was a wait, but the cocktails before hand were a hit for my former RI friends and myself. Service was outstanding and we ended up talking with the owner before leaving as she came to our table. Don’t miss a chance for a great meal at The Clam Bake.
Fresh seafood cooked to perfection with decent portions. The place is busy sometimes which is a sure sign of a guaranteed great dining experience.
