Reviewed 1 week agoThis is my all time favorite Mexican Restaurant in this area.I moved here in '97 and this is the best Mexican restaurant I have found. It is large and the food is fantastic. Such a selection of tacos, Margaritas, etc..My friend recommended it, so we went for her birthday.Everything was fresh and made to order. Our server was so knowledgeable and knew all about the menu. I forgot her name but she was a cutie with a brown braid. The tacos were great. We had the T & T fried chicken taco , we both had quesadillas served with so much good stuff. The Mexican Crema was real, and they gave enough extras that you could take home lots of salsa. Thick and delish. This was my friend Ginger's birthday and we shared her fried ice cream dessert and shared my dessert also. She had been there a couple of times before and chose it for birthday lunch. I cannot say enough, however I shall stop.Show lessDate of visit: July 2022ValueServiceFood
Outside dining available. Plenty of parking, but may be a bit away. The decor is festive and the atmosphere is lively and fun. The bar area is average size. We went on a Tuesday with 2for1 margaritas so it was quite busy. House cocktails and wines are priced appropriately, low end brands, but the pour is generous. The chips were fresh and the salsa was delicious. Chicken fajitas were plentiful and tasty, the huevos rancheros may have tasted good but was very unappealing on the plate and the pulled pork tacos were good. Our server Sam was friendly and efficient. A fun casual evening.

Better than Chipotle - order a la cart Tacos that satisfy any craving from traditional, Shrimp, Korean or Brisket. The free chips and salsa was a blend of fresh corn chips and fire roasted tomato - yummy! Staff very friendly. Also the inside seating is comfortable but go outside - beautiful Large stone patio.
Good food horrible service. Manager was more busy chatting it up rather than help his team while the struggled in the midst of peak time. Had the bartender running the bar and tables. Many tables were left without drinks being filled and I had to ask for the rest of my order. We wanted to get more food and dessert, but the service was so poor we ended up leaving. The atmosphere is cool I like the FGCU artwork and the music playing, but they need to hire more people and have better management. I hate seeing upper staff watch the lower staff bust their butt and not lift a finger. Do by example.
Local spot for drinks and food. Full bar and outside seating available. Salsa very good. Variety of menus choices. Something for everyone.
Mediocre at best.My girlfriend suggested we try this place a few days ago so we figured we would give it a shot. I do have to say service was pretty good overall, but the food and the prices are the deal breakers. The food was a glorified Taco Bell at best. Between both of us for two waters, fajitas for her, and shrimp quesadillas for me it was over $50 not including tip. I wouldn’t mind the price if the food was of better quality.
Not my style for a Mexican restaurant. Not that it was bad just not my styleThe Queso was delicious and a nice size bowlThe menu is very simple lots of individual items lots of different tacos ? to choose fromVery reasonable
Tacos were alright. Not the best I’ve had. The braised short rib tacos was very oily and unfortunately soaked the rest of my remaining tacos. Sauces and toppings were forgotten on some of the tacos as well so I needed to request it. Their chips, guac, and queso are very good and a great appetizer to share.I really enjoy my virgin mango strawberry margarita!
We have eaten here several times with Family and Friends. Although very busy, we don't mind the wait. We always have good service along with great food and drinks. This place is fun for all ages!
