Food was great, but if I wanted to wait on myself, I'd just stay home! Get up to get my food. Get up to carry our own milkshakes. Get up to grab napkins etc. Hazardous duty for sure. Not going back.

Employee Ron was very very helpful checking in and helping place our orders. There are no longer waitresses or anyone cleaning tables etc. But Ron greeted customers as they were coming in and helped them place orders, and was very genuinely friendly. The food was what is expected but the experience wouldn't have been if not for Ron. Thank you to Ron if he ever sees this!

I love this place for a quick in and out FRESH meal!!One employee (older male), name maybe Kurt or similar was very helpful in helping us navigate the self order kiosk, and getting our drinks and extra condiments!!We had burgers and fries .. good, hot and plentiful portions!!

Burgers, fries, shakes, all amazing. Came with a party of 8 and the food came out in less than 20 minutes. I don't know what all the negative reviews are about but we definitely had a great time. Anyone who complains about the kiosks don't understand we are in the future after a pandemic. The kiosks were self explanatory and not hard to use at all. We'll definitely be back.

Just experienced a new trough for any Steak n Shake anywhere I’ve ever been. I’m 65 years old and have been a customer since I was a child. I know the pandemic has been tough on everyone. Here is what I’ve observed in the past few years. The new business model eliminating wait staff in favor of kiosk service is a great idea. Problems I encountered were related to just the basic availability of the things that make a Steak n Shake meal. 1. No Paresean cheese for my Chili Mac. 2. No plastic silverware knives to cut my spaghetti with ? 3. No crackers without asking and then they were stale ? C’mon Steak n Shake ??‍♂️ I want to remain a loyal customer but it’s getting really really hard to hang in there with you. If these are cost containment efforts maybe it’s time to throw in the towel. I’m about ready to after 60 years of steak burgers and Chili Mac.

I wish I didn't have to resort to one star, but Steak 'n Shake has morphed into a restaurant that barely resembles its former self. I'm sure the labor shortage has taken its toll. Gone are the waitresses, replaced by self serve kiosks. Gone are the china, replaced with plastic baskets and wax paper. Without the usual staffing and service, the dining area has taken on the all of the charm found in a hospital cafeteria. To top off my visit, there was a sign taped to the order kiosk alerting customers that the deep fryer was broken and french fries were not available. Steak 'n Shake was always on my go-to list of burger and frie restaurants, but unfortunately I'll have to remove it for the time being. I sincerely hope they can right the ship, but it's sad to see how far this once top tier burger chain has fallen.

I ordered 2 double cheeseburger combos, an extra small fry with cheese sauce, & a regular vanilla milkshake. They forgot my cheese sauce. My fries were ice cold & soggy. When I called to let them know (I went on my lunch break) the only thing they were willing to do to make it right was give me new fries. The lady who answered the phone was extremely rude. I'll never order from this place again. It's always wrong & the workers are always rude anytime you point out your order is wrong.

Have been to this place a couple times, not too bad. Ordered a burger the other day with no cheese and it was good. Ordered same thing today and had cheese wedged in between the patties, had to scape it off. It's a small thing but eh. Thanks though

Pulled up to the drive-thru was told to wait 1 minute. After waiting for almost 15 minutes they finally asked what our order was order two Fry's hot dogs with onions cheese added to it and the side of chili cuz they told us they don't put chili on a dog pulled around didn't even have our fries for the order didn't have onions on one had to go inside. The young girl behind the counter standing with the manager made a smart comment that she put onions on it onions were only on one of them not both whole ordeal took 35 minutes in the Drive-Thru and the french fries were cold. That's what you pay for manager needs a new job and staff needs to be replaced!!!

I never heard of a restaurant where you couldn't get a burger & a drink without buying a platter or what ever they call it. The sandwich came with fries & I didn't want fries. Just a burger & a drink. Will never go back. Besides I had to order using a kiosk. Unbelievable!!!!
