Late dinner, the Shrimp Shack is very roomy diner. Seating are comfortable and the décor dated. Men room do need TLC. The Claim Chowder and the full Grill White Fish were great. The Skipper Catch also nice and good portion.
This establishment has a nice atmosphere and the service was quick/efficient, but not overly friendly. The food was good and portion sizes were good for the price. It is comparable to other similar seafood restaurants on the area, but not a stand-out.
And he knew how to upsell a piece of cake! It was a good piece of cake. Enjoyed the shrimp and the onion rings.
We were greeted by such a wonderful warm welcome, big smile and helpfulness by Elisa (Alysa?) who helped us find a table we could use with our wheelchair. She came by several times to check on us when our waitress was not available. Our waitress- Selena, was also excellent- very helpful and knowledgeable. We love the menu and the food- some of the best fried shrimp anywhere! The ambiance is terrific- so many fun posters and characters on the walls. It's a delightful place to visit, and we can't wait to return.
First time we ever ate here. The Haddock stuffed with crabmeat was excellent. As a suggestion from the excellent waitress (who lives in Cape Coral) who suggested the corn fritters, they were awesome as well!!! After she brought out the desert tray I could not resist taking the coconut cake along home. It was very moist, not too sweet and delicious! If we are ever in the area we will be back!
My first time to the Shrimp Shack. A very large menu filled with many options. The restaurant was large as well. I would highly recommend. The waitress was very good, but her Shrimp Shack tee-shirt was very filthy and was a BIG turn-off. I ended up getting the fish and chips with cole slaw and hush puppies.
We had the best shrimp ever. Fresh & the flavors popped in my mouth. Every bite was perfect through the whole meal. It was totally amazing!Also had fish & crab cakes it was just like the shrimp...fresh & flavors that stay with you for the rest of the day. Fanatics!Get a piece of the orange cake for dessert. Oh it's heaven!Will go back soon! ❤
Been wanting to try this place for months!!!! Was not disappointed! Went through the drive thru, Blake who took our order was polite and informational. We had a pretty big order was done in a timely manner and when we got home our food was still hot!!!! Will definitely be back for sure!
If this place must use canned vegetables then they need to learn how to season them. There food tastes like it was microwaved. Not worth the effort
We really enjoyed this place! There’s lots of fish choices! There’s scallops, shrimp, crab cakes, white fish and so on! There’s a chicken choice and a beef choice for those who don’t like fish! We had lunch and it was a lot of food! White fish fry and fries shrimp with sweet potato fries! Delish! ❤️ Nice patio and quick service!
