Nice sushi. I got the two rolls lunch deal and it felt like a reasonable price. The hostess/waitress was really nice and the ginger salad was tasty!
Great happy hour from 4 to 6. Sit at the bar and get a free cucumber salad with fresh tuna or crab. Wine and beer are half price. There are several option between 5 to 7 dollars on the happy hour menu. Delicious and fresh. Everyone is very friendly.
The female owner is so kind and so sweet. Thought I placed an order over the phone but called the wrong place. Came with a starving two year old and she got my order to me quickly and brought it to my car to make it easier on me. Food was great, staff is even better.
My favorite sushi place in SWFL! They have so many good options. Their happy hour is the best, hands down. I’ve been waiting to visit SWFL again just so I can get some of my favorite sushi. Plus, they have fried rolls, which are my husband’s favorite.
I am giving this place 2 stars because my wife loved her food. The service was not good. They were not very busy yet we sat with empty glasses and repeatedly had to ask for refills. The staff was miserable and annoyed. We ordered entrees and didn’t get our soup or salad. After we ate our meals I asked if they can take it off the bill. The waitress refused because “soup and salad is complimentary.” Half way through the meal I decided to come back in a couple months to see if It was a fluke. I changed my mind after she told me I would not be compensated for the food we didn’t get. I’m actually shocked at the 4.5 star average. I will not be back.
We used to be loyal weekly customers of Rock ‘n Sushi and since December the atmosphere and service has plummeted. They were bought by new owners and they obviously don’t have a clue what they are doing. Extremely sad.
Food was excellent, service was mediocre at best. As I left a 15% for server and put an additional 10% in the jar on the bar for the chefs. I expressed my opinion and the chef and someone who I thought was a manager both laughed. They probably split tips and if so okay, I just wanted to make a point that the service was lacking.
Our party of four really enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the entrees. We got shrimp pad thai, volcano rolls, California rolls, and a few additional items. The service was great and friendly staff.
Great food, very fresh and lots of vegan options. Sushi is also very good. We typically go here 2-3 times per month. We enjoy the happy hour specials ($5 sushi rolls & other appetizers). Pictured is the Tofu Udon soup witch is a favorite as well as the basil stir fry. New owners recently, but it seems they’ve retained most of the staff which is a good thing?!
Great fresh Sushi! Definitely a hidden gem.
