By far the worst pollo tropical I’ve ever been to. I ordered this steak bowl but where’s the beans? They never have cilantro garlic sauce. Onions are brown and soggy. Tried to call to complain and no one never pick up the phone. You have to wait forever in line and then get home and you’re missing food. Pls don’t go here. Food and customer service is terrible. If I could give them zero stars I would. Went online and made a complaint to corporate and of course no response.
I gave it 2 stars because technically it qualifies as food, but barely... I ordered the grilled chicken avocado salad, first off... It did not have ANY avocado on it at all... Just mushy, low grade, guacamole that was turning brown already. The whole thing tastes disgusting and it's filled with bottom of the barrel lettuce that you would never put on your own salad if you made one for yourself, it was literally all of the white ends, hardly any actual green at all, the "sauce" is disgusting, I don't know what to even call it other than that, and how do you mess up lemonade? Bitter and nasty. I thought about calling to complain but for what? So they can give me avocado to put on my disgusting salad? Nah...I'm good. I just want people that actually have functional taste buds to be aware of what they will get if they eat here.
Where do I begin? The service is pretty slow, and the customer service is sub par. When placing an order through the drive through, which I had to do twice due to my order missing an item, I was rushed. Continously asked "was there anything else?", almost before I could finish my sentence. When I checked my order and returned for my missing tomatoes, I was asked with an attitude, when did I pick up that order? I assure you, no one is swinging by just for free balsamic tomatoes. The beans I ordered we very watery, as if the where giving my the left overs. My quarter chicken in my meal was very small, which required I order another quarter chicken. The mojo pork was perfectly delicious. The side cups of sauce were very small, only filled half way. When I asked for extras, I didn't get that. I figured since I was being rushed while placing the order, my request was not heard. It was an hour before closing time and they claimed to be out of many things, especially all things fried and no salad. Needless to say from ordering, to the pick up window, to back to ordering and correcting the previous order, the process took an hour through the drive through, since the lobby was locked. One would have to deeply desire Pollo Tropical, in order to go through this process willingly.
If I could give 0 stars I will.Yesterday Feb 23th 2022 I bought food.When in process preparing my plate I noted something was off inside my white rice something green. I starting moving the rice and little did I know I found a worm.I will never order food from any pollo tropical.
I went to grab a bit before going home it was approximately 9:50pm on a Friday night. When I got home the rice was hard and crunchy. First off everything I asked for “we’re out of that”. The black beans and corn was a very very small amount. I usually enjoy the food but tonight it was disgusting and trouble. I would not send ANY there to eat.
Food was a request to be picked up, so I went in to get it.What happened to this place? It was awesome the last time I stopped by, apparently that is no longer true.Bathroom had trash all over the floor.There were two customers leaving as I came otherwise the place was empty at 5pm on a Wednesday afternoon.Manager takes my order and wonders off. Girl filling my order plates it for in store, no biggie it's to go.Scrapes the rice in a Togo box and forgets the rest of my sides.I ask for them. She hands me some pineapple salsa that I'm fairly sure had more on the outside than inside. I say something to the employee she turns and walks away. Zero help, manager is in the dining room hitting on a girl half his age and completely ignores me as well.The kitchen was already basically closed there was a stack of cooked chicken on the right side grill, the left was clean and closed. Not sure what time they close but I doubt it is 5pm.So sad to watch what was a great place to eat become a questionable chicken joint, I'm honestly concerned this chicken may be hours since it was cooked!Anyway I doubt I will ever be back. Just disappointed.
Food tasted good but when I got to the bone of the thigh it was very bloody. I asked for a manager and when she looked at it she stated that although undercooked the temperature of the meat would not make me sick. If I get food poisoning you will hear from me soon!
Horrible customer service. This pollo tropical seems to never get my order right. On top of that, they close early way too often, blaming it on “low” staff, but then they have like eight different people walking around.There’s even workers sitting on counters at drive through. Absolutely disgusting!
horrible place. we went here tonight via drive thru and paid for everything we ordered and we were only given half our order. now the restaurant won't answer the phone!!! called 3 times!! the chicken dinner we did receive is aweful!awful!! the meat is super dry and nasty!! not a good experience and have been ripped off!! very unhappy!!
The food was very good and priced good also The Pork over tostones was amaxing and so is the 1/2 chicken with vegetable yellow rice. They have a seasonal coconut eggnog pie or cake coquito and its rich but real yummy also. The guava BBQ sauce is delish as well as their cilantro garlic dressing and other sides. Service was friendly and everyone was hard at work.
