We stumbled across Pilar’s at the Venice Farmers Market on May 28. In one word: WOW! We had bacon and plum and caprese empanadas. They were both delicious and, by far, the best empanadas we’ve ever had. We vacation in Venice once a year, and already looking forward to next year to have more m!

I tried my first empanaza from pilars this week. I had no idea what to expect. I chose the ham and cheese and a pork empanaza. they were very reasonably priced and were delicious! they were warm, soft and tasty! I gobbled both right down and they hit the spot! I will most definitely be back for more yummy stuff! I am glad they are now easily locatable on Miami avenue with plenty of parking nearby in lots or right out front!! Don't even debate- just go right in and their friendly staff will gladly assist you- and you will be glad you did.

Found this little gem from the Happy Cow app, and was shocked they had vegan empanadas! I really regret only getting one, but I was in a rush! I will be back for 10 more! Super yummy, and the lady is very lovely! Yum yum!
