Wonderful dinner! From the tasty mushroom broth, to a tangy ginger salad where the iceberg lettuce was crisp and cold and the salad dressing had a little kick and plenty of vinegar! We had the steak, shrimp and scallops and it was all very tasty and cooked to perfection. Loved the rice and clearly the Yum Yum sauce is... well Yummy!!! We took home doggie bags and left very full. The best part was that the bill didn't break the bank.. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back.

The sushi was great, we ordered 4 different rolls (5 total) ! the portions were really big!! The food seemed really fresh and the raw fish was really good. Service was alright... we saw our server only a handful of times. Seating was nice we weren't right on top of each other. And everyone dining in was spaced out. It was a decent place that I wouldn't mind going back to!

The WORST experience I’ve ever had at a place that provides hibachi. The cook did nothing for us- he didn’t even speak to us. He made food incorrectly. My appetizer took over 30 minutes to get to the table. Our seafood was so fishy we barely ate anything. I’m sad to say I went here, hoping for a reasonable time. I’ll never go back. And when I spoke to a manager about it, she would do nothing to help us out. Thank you for a horrible experience. Next time, I will not only discontinue going, I’ll either cook at home or go to a competitor.

Best hibachi I've ever had! Excellent service! The food is superb!!

Food is great at the hibachi and the sushi is excellent as well! sauces are amazing too, all home made!! if you are visiting. you should try this place out

We’ve always had a good experience with the amazing food here. Unfortunately today I went to pick up a to go order for my daughter it was working in 11 hour shift today , and the food was packaged poorly with sauce all over sushi, etc. caucasian woman answering the phone and running to register to use a force in customer service one oh one… she refused to give the name of the manager to my daughter when my daughter called, and after putting honor on hold they did agree to make the order right. So now here I am driving again to go pick up an order that should’ve been packaged more carefully in the first place, and I’m not looking forward to seeing a sourpuss when I get there …The “manager ” did call back requesting a photo which my daughter was able to provide along with the description of sauce all over the food, etc. although the manager insisted this is not been an issue before, looking up other reviews customers have said otherwise. I can only hope that they address this issue for takeout orders! When I picked up the replacement order the food was hot and packaged properly at this time!Unfortunately Miss sourpuss could barely muster up “here you go” (underneath her breath) as her best shot at customer service. If I were the owners and management I would consider either training her specifically in the area of offering great customer service or she should look for another line of employment!

Fantastic place. Monk at the sushi bar is great and makes amazing rolls. You can ask to make any custom rolls too!

Delicious food, best hibachi in town. I've been coming here since I was little. Birthdays are extra special. It's a family owned restaurant. The staff is like another family.

Called for pick up, was so riddled in conflict an order was never even placed. The bare minimum a customer expects is information, manners and courtesy. I was not offered any of those pleasantries when I called to place an order at Osaka Japanese Steakhouse. I was told that normal basic sushi item were not on the menu, that a $16 dish is now $55, and was told that there was no way for me to see their menu if not standing in the building, that "google just put a random menu on their website" while being cut off, given excuses and rushed after simply asking how can I see their menu online. It's odd to be refused service at the ordering stage of the transaction, the tone of the phone call was more of a high pressure scam interaction than a simple order for pickup. Fort Myers doesn't have the best track record for open mindedness and informative discourse, but this is largely the worst treatment I've ever received trying to Order a Meal. It usually take a fingernail in the Soup level disappointment to take to Google for a 1 star review. Congrats Osaka yo mama, for setting a precedent.
