All three of us thought the food was bland. The salsa was very mild, the Chile regional was very mild. Would have liked some more kick. The food was ok though and the service was good.
Very nice server, Alejandro. Overall super good food too!
Good food , good drinks, at first the service was not what I was expecting, but after letting the server knew my expectations, the service got a lot better. Beautiful place. Will go back again.
There's potential, but many problems. The handmade guacamole dip was delicious, but the chips were dull and in stingy proportions. The vegetarian burrito was essentially onions and peppers, mostly the former, missing beans and rice and sauce. When we pointed out errors to our server, he tried to blame us for supposedly not reading the menu rather than address our concerns. I cannot recommend this restaurant.
Expected better. Just average overall
We were impressed by the exceptional service, meal and cocktail suggestions by our waiter, Alejandro. Great meal and five stars waiter.
Food was very good but extremely pricey for Mexican food. $24 for a combo platter $17 for 3 tacos but great Margaritas!
Finally ate here with the family. The restaurant is beautiful the decor is just amazing. I love that there's live Mariachi they sound amazing. The menu is a bit pricey but it's all worth it. Only thing the steak needs a bit more seasoning besides that the food is amazing. Their Sopapillas are delicious can't find them at every mexican restaurants. My daughters devoured it. Can't forget to mention the Pina Colada is perfect just the right amount of liquor.
My wife and I stopped by for lunch and had a margarita, table side guac (outstanding!) and enjoyed super service in the bar area. The only complaint I have is that the write up didn't mention the restaurant is in a mall on a busy street.
First time at Monarcas restaurant. dinner was very good, and service was good as well. Authentic Mexican cuisine as well.
