Pretty freaking awesome. Great food! The Mac n cheese is one of a kind, so is the green beans with bacon. Pictures below are the baby back ribs, the lean brisket.Came back on 7/9/2022 had the moist brisket—it was freaking awesome. The ribs still fall off the bone. Super service by good people. Bravo Zulu.

My first time there, went today for lunch.Great concept that strives in honoring and giving back to all service men and institutions. It's my opinion that other restaurants and fast foods should somehow follow on Mission BBQ initiatives.Upon coming in you will notice the decor is about it, with a very nice & clean facilities. The staff that I interacted with were super friendly, and helpful. The menu is well balanced, leaning more to a chain restaurant type, than a traditional BBQ place.I order the $14. 5 bone baby back ribs, with $5 XL combo which includes one side and a soft drink. The ribs were not picture "wow," they are dry rubbed and while bite soft, they looked a bit dry out from holding.Maybe, before serving, try to bring them "alive" for a minute on a hot grill, while spraying them, it would do greatness for them in final texture and looks. The dry rub was very salty, it overwhelmed the spices, and I had to use a few of their 6 varieties of their very tasty BBQ sauces to tone down the salty flavor profile and was able to enjoy them completely to the bare bones...The side of Mac n Cheese was very good, and I really wanted more....The Corn bread was moist and fresh...I will go back with friends to give them another try to more of the menu offerings, and hopefully they will turn out better.

Eh, it was OK. I was told this was the best and couldn't be beat, yadda yadda, meh. It is solid for chain BBQ, about on par with Dickie's BBQ, but nothing special. They were giving out free meals to different branches of the military on Memorial Day week which is nice.

The food is amazing but honestly the staff makes this place one of my favorites. We frequently do the drive from Cape Coral and can’t wait until they open their doors in our city, just hope the staff measures up!

First time visit for lunch. My husband and I just wanted a pulled pork sandwich. I order my NC style. Little did I know the cole slaw comes on top of the meat. It’s ok I like cole slaw. The bun is nice ,soft and fresh. The pulled pork meat has dry rub spices/ seasoning. On the tables there are six bbq sauces to choose from. Yay! So with each bite of my sandwich I can choose/ sample every one of those sauces. I think choices are just great!! Sandwich is made to order for you. It doesn’t come out from the kitchen a soggy ,sloppy sandwich. Food is hot, fresh and delicious. Husband had a Rolling Rock beer, I had lemonade. No dessert. The restaurant was clean and neat. Plenty of military/ first responder decor on the wall. I enjoyed looking at it. Will return and enjoy it again. Thank you Mission BBQ!

Still OK but in decline. For three years this was my favorite lunch place. I looked forward to my weekly visit (and sometimes couldn't quite wait that long). Quality was consistently excellent and I felt comfortable bringing friends who were visiting Fort Myers. But then something changed a couple of months ago, possibly different management. First, there was a significant price increase, so I decided I would just visit a little less often. After that, for the first time ever, the food quality dropped precipitously. The baked beans looked like they had been warmed over for several days in a row, and the pulled pork had large fatty globs that were completely inedible. So I waited a few weeks and gave it another try. Again disappointment! This time I also realized that the friendly faces I was accustomed to seeing were no longer there, and the upbeat atmosphere had become subdued. So, with sadness, I have said goodbye to my favorite restaurant.

We have used Mission BBQ for many big parties at our home. All our guests have been thrilled with the food and get very excited when we tell them the food is going to be from Mission. Our first experience with them was up North. My nieces wedding was a backyard "I Do BBQ" It was fantastic. So we started using the one in Fort Myers..Always a hit. And for the people out there complaining about rising prices-food costs for restaurant owners have gone through the roof. They aren't ripping people off by raising prices- just trying to keep afloat..We are headed there this weekend to pick up food for a group of ten and we are all super excited !!!

We are soon-to-be new seasonal residents and wanted to try the local restaurants. We selected this one to try their barbecue. Counter service and limited beverage menu. The food was very good.
