My friend had been here before so decided to take me after a shopping trip. It was a really nice lunch. The waitress was very nice, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was enjoyable. I will be back when in the area with others. The serving size was generous for both the Mediterranean salad and my Quiche.
Great restaurant, hidden on McGregor. I had the tuna melt with the homemade chips. Wow! Large portion of tuna with a taste to match.
Hands down best breakfast I’ve found since moving to Florida. The quiche of the day was amazing! Spinach and crab with Hollandaise sauce. The cheese grits and omelet were good as well. You can’t go wrong here. The cafe is quaint and friendly.
We drove out of our way from the airport to try breakfast at McGregor’s Cafe, and it was definitely worth the drive. We arrived around 9:30 and enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast in the beautiful patio. The home fries are unbelievably delicious! Our waitress was courteous and super efficient. When we left around 10:30 there were several diners waiting to be admitted. I would highly recommend McGregor’s Cafe!
The tuna and chicken salads were tasteless. The tomato soup was pretty good. It does have a nice atmosphere and dog friendly outside. The hostess wasn’t friendly but the waitress was fine. I wouldn’t return.
Terrific breakfast spot near downtown. Small menu with just about anything you could want. Be prepared to wait for a table but it moves quickly. Staff is friendly and helpful, and you can tell they are proud of the restaurant. Large portions so come hungry! Gorgeous plants surround the outside garden patio and that tree!
Very delicious food, great atmosphere and wonderful service. Definitely would come back and visit again because it made me so happy (look at me smiling in the last photo lol)
The owners are truly nice & professional & they want to please tourists & natives alike!!It can't always go perfect! Help is Also hard to get these days due to the virusSo I would suggest pancakes & baconIt's a charming looking establishmentMaybe I will try the smoked salmon on a bagel - get there early - they are popular & THEY AIM TO PLEASE - ITS a great location easy to get to ENJOY ALL
We loved the chowder and quiche on previous visits, but there's no predicting when those two items will appear on the menu. Doesn't matter! Everything here is good. Redfish was the fish of the day and the redfish sandwiches were huge and delicious. I had the quinoa and kale salad with a large lobster cake. My friend ordered the meatball appetizer as an entree and managed to tuck it all away. Salads were cold and fresh. Key lime pie slice is enough for four to share.
Great patio area with beautiful shrubs that hide the street, tree coverage providing shade, and tree limbs dotted with lots of beautiful air plants. Inside ambiance was nice as well. Menu selection is great. We visited on a Sunday, and were hoping to try their breakfast but there was a 30 minute wait and the hostess let us know that by the time we were sat they would be serving lunch. Our table had meatballs for an appetizer, a tuna sandwich, a chicken salad sandwich, the wild thing sandwich and a McGregor salad. The meatballs were not a table favorite, but everyone loved everything else. Would definitely eat here again! We’ll plan to come earlier and sit on the patio.
