We always enjoy our stay and appreciate the amazing customer service at the Marriott Sanibel. We travel a lot and we definitely know quality when we see it. I’d like to thank Sumant & Lexus at the front desk, & Costin & Milanyela at the restaurant for taking great care of us. Costin especially went out of his way to accommodate my high-maintenance wife’s requests, we were very impressed! Highly recommended and also great rates!

A great hotel, in a great location, with a great view, the service was great, and the staff was very helpful, and very friendly, which made for a great 2 day get away. I would stay there again in the future.

Two of the greatest front end clerks( friendly and all about service) but visit is falling short. View spectaculars. Room is clean, although had little bugs crawl out of coffee pot. No fridge in cabinet but brought us one immediately. Extra Towels and extra blankets delivered promptly but blankets were musty. Fans not working in bathroom so creating some steamy humid conditions. Beds and pillows comfortable. Service was slow at Charley’s Bar and it was a pretty slow night of guests. Didn’t have bourbon as listed. We’re here 5 more days so it can only go up. Dinner at Court side slow( there were three tables going) and just okay. My boys said gym was awesome. Two days later…. You can drink your face off but don’t expect to have food available after 10….no food in this resort anywhere??? Stunk after a long day of rain delays in baseball to come back and have zero food options.Dry cleaners also laundered baseball ball pants … they came back smelling good but were dirty like when I turned them in to be cleaned. Had to do dry clean option because one washer and dryer for 11 floors. Was trying to wash uniforms until 11:30 at night. We needed to be up at 5. Showed front desk pants and they did refund money. The front desk people make this place for sure.

We had a marvelous time at the Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort this past week. We used the funky free rental bikes to get around the property. The fitness center is large, clean, up-to-date and the machines are great. We didn't take any spa services, but the spa looks and smells wonderful! We played tennis and basketball with the equipment they provide. The pools are lovely and well kept! The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. Diane at the front desk was particularly pleasant. Barbara in housekeeping kept us up to date with all the supplies we needed in the room. The Steakhouse looks awesome! We had planned to stay in a place in Captiva. We weren't happy in Captiva and felt so fortunate that we were able to switch reservations and stay 4 nights at his excellent Marriott property! We were in the Sanibel tower.

Called to front desk for assistance and spoke with a Ms Marks. I will now call her "Groucho" Marks because that is exactly how it went. I called to ask questions and resolve issues with my reservation. I was concerned that the room was not what I had paid for. "Groucho" Marks instantly became rude and confrontational. You know the type? Tells you to "stop hollering" and "no need to yell" when in fact they are the ones raising the tone and causing a disturbance. Yet trying to take control of the conversation and set the tone for future dealings. The "wolf cry". This person has no business in the hospitality industry. It seems to me Marriott's HR should have already weeded her out. I gave up and just decided to write a letter to Marriott HR instead! "Assistant Front Desk Manager" - Well I think her rise will stop here at the bottom.

Great location and on sight amenities, without the traffic of being on Sanibel Island. Everyone was pleasant and you can tell they enjoy working there. Three different restaurants to choose from and I think they also had another one by the pool. The pizza at Charlie’s was amazing.

Wonderful experience. Lexis behind the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay extra memorable. She was wonderfuly kind and extremely knowledgeable. Cathy at the lobby bar was also a bright spot. Can't wait to come back to see what else the resort has to offer!! 7/7/22

The hotel is amazing, very friendly staff!

We booked a King One Room "Suite" in the Sanibel Tower for 4th of July weekend. It is my wife's birthday. I really wanted to just be "wow'd" by this property but it kinda fell flat. The best thing going for it is the view, but that's it. The staff, what few there were, were friendly. The service was fair, not great but fair. We booked a "cabana" for the 4th. There were several times we ordered things and had to remind our attendant of the order. We waited for quite a while just to get water and ice. The drinks were a little slow too, and we were literally feet from the bar. To be clear, I think this was entirely the staff's fault, but management should have planned better and gotten the correct staffing level for a holiday. The grounds were kept. Once again, not great but, ok. The ONLY special activity for the resort was - Kids Tennis Lessons. There was no fireworks, no food or drink specials, not even any decorations. There was a sand castle in the lobby area, I think it was by a local artist but not 100% sure about that, but that was it. We actually watched fireworks on the island from our room. You know, it wouldn't take much to roll out a food truck or some grills and have "Hamburgers and Hotdogs" for a couple of bucks. Instead we paid $14 for a burger. There just wasn't anything great about the property or the management's attempt to make things special for the holiday. Our one bedroom "Suite" wasn't really "Suite-like". It was clean, but again...nothing really special. In fact it was kinda cramped to be honest. The "room" with the sofa and TV seemed to be an afterthought more than anything. I would say this is just an average place that doesn't really fill the bill of a "resort". Next trip to Sanibel area, we'll look for another place most likely.

No. When we arrived today. They overbooked and put us in a room off the main property. It’s sad ?
