Mario's is the best! I wish Mario's was in Wisconsin! Love all of the food. There is such a wonderful and surprising assortment of anything from sweets to meats. The deli counter makes absolutely out of this world sandwiches and other entrees and delicacies. Everything is always fresh. Made me feel just like I was back in New York :-) There can be a wait - if you don't know the right people ;) - but it's worth it!
Fabulous quaint Italian specialty market... Lots of great quality deli meats and cheeses to choose from plus the fresh salads, olives, bakery goods and fresh meats. Every time I go I get great service and and just love all their pastas, sauces, jarred products, etc. Parking lot is super busy with limited spaces so get there early or later in the afternoon. In the photo, everything but the beer and liquor came from Marios, even the wine!!! Mangia!!
Being Sicilian living in SW FL there isn't quite the combination of a local family owned Italian market/deli - Mario's has been our ONE AND ONLY place to go! They offer genuine Italian specialties and SO MUCH MORE! Being native to NJ all of my life - having Mario's makes my family and me feel closer to home where real FOOD exists! Thank you ALWAYS for feeding our souls. Staff is always so wonderful and hopefully knows us now as we have been loyal customers for over 4 years! The fact there is "REAL BREAD" says it all. Bon Appetite!
Just discovered this store! So happy to find a legit Italian store with many of the high quality items I found in the DC suburbs. Excellent butcher! Great deli!
Delli foods really pricey. $10/2 meatballs, $9/1square eggplantEverything in delli $10 or more a pound. Even salads. Small container if beef juice $5. Every store gives you juice free when you buy the beef. All looks good but very pricey. Took home 2 dinners for me and wife cost me $78.
We only buy mozzarella, mortadella, lunch hero bread and manhattan special coffee soda. They are all high priced. But the taste is exquisite. We sit outside and make our own sandwiches. To bad it's so far away from us.
We had a girls trip…the 1st night we just wanted to stay in and relax…I went to Mario’s earlier in the day and picked up lasagna, salads, bread and the most fantastic desserts..so easy but yet so hard to choose from their wide selection.
Since moving down to Fort Myers from NJ, I've been searching for things I miss back home. Good Italian food and Pizza. Fish markets. And so many other thingsBut when I heard about Mario's I was skeptical but curious by all the cars outside their building anytime of day, parked on the street and lawns. When I went there this New Years Eve, I was blown away not only by they layout of the store but by how much it felt like my favorite haunt bank in NJ for real traditional Italian Deli and butcher called Esposito's (now no longer and closed).Everything was so fresh and a big selection of just about anything under the sun or in this case anything Italian!Thank you Mario's for making it feel like home again and like grandma's. ❤❤❤
Best Authentic Italian meat market and Deli probably outside of Italy and likely better than most there as well. Incredible marinaded mozzarella, stunning fresh breads and an beautiful selection of meats, and imported products.. do yourself a favor and grab one of thier sub sandwiches. You'll never eat at a Jimmy John's or any other sub shop without comparing them ti Mario's again.
All the home made dishes that you enjoyed growing up. Fresh breads, cookies, desserts. The butcher/ deli has excellent selections of meats and home made sausage and braciole.
