Great bar.If you like whiskey this is your place. We were greeted by big red who was very good about letting us know the kitchen was about to close.Teresa was our bartender and was very knowledgeable about the booze behind the bar. It was clear the staff enjoy their job. The wings were excellent and the whiskey was plentiful. Its my understanding the owner is whiskey connoisseur and has great stories to go with nearly every bottle. We will be sure to visit them on the next trip out.

The axe throwing is fun and the food is pretty good (for bar food), but it is really expensive by the time you pay for a lane and order drinks and food. I brought my employees here for a company outing and it cost us a fortune! Also, the service is very slow, especially for drinks!
You just have to try this place out, If you love whiskey, beer or just great food this place has it all. I am a self confessed bourbon lover and I was in awe of all of the whiskey that they have available. I was able to try an incredible whiskey flight of ones that i have yet to try before.SW Florida needs a great whiskey bar where you can try different ones before you splurge on a bottle for your own collection. This is a place that caters to those that want more than just the typical 3 or 4 bottles behind the bar, this is my new go to place.We also enjoyed two great beers and some incredible food. We had the pulled pork nachos that were loaded with some of the best pulled pork we have tasted. I cant wait to try the big pulled pork sandwich.We did spend a lot of time with the manager Ryan who is very knowledgeable and he gave us some incredible suggestions of things to try. It was great to talk with him and he lead me to a great beer that was one that I will continue to ask for when I am there,Oh, btw.... they also have axe throwing lanes. We didn't try it this time but we had a great time watching the groups play.All in all it was a great time and a place that we will return to often and bring others with us.
Hosted a company team building event this past weekend and it was amazing! The staff were very accommodating with our rowdy bunch and we definitely appreciated the effort. Will definitely be back again.
We had a party of 3 and were interested in drinks and axe throwing! We were greeted by a guy (Buffalo) who assigned us a lane and showed us how to throw (which I quickly learned that I suck). We had a blast and our guide made sure to check in, not just to tell us our time was up, but to see how we were doing. The customer service was great! We eventually did eat and have no complaints. We will definitely be returning!
Lumber Axe is a great place to go to meet friendly people, have an opportunity to experience some outstanding bourbon and food. Just make sure to ask how much a pour of your selected bourbon…you may get sticker shock. Staff is simply awesome! Been there many times and always had a great time.

Stopped in for a late night drink last season. Heard Tom Beckman is playing there tonight January 14th. We love watching and listening to him. Going to try ax throwing and food!!
